Rimmel London Match Perfection Blush Review

Hello!! I recently picked up The Rimmel London Match Perfection Blush from Target and I want to share my thoughts with you all!! I rarely find drugstore blushes that have good pigmentation to them so I was skeptical, but since I love the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder I thought I was try this one out.

This has the same packaging to the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
I thought this look super pretty with the three different colors in the blush. It looks like it could be a brozner, blush, and highlight all in one or be mixed all together for a blush.
I believe this comes in 4 different shades, but I chose this one called Light because I liked the pink color in this one the best.

Here is a swatch, and sadly you can barely see it.
And this is about as far as this blush goes. It's not pigmented at all, and doesn't transfer well to the skin. I tried using a lot of product, and I even tried really getting a lot of just the pink color but it didn't work out so well. It was a bit chalky and just dusted everywhere.
The other shades are called medium, dark, etc. so those might be more pigmented than this one, but for some reason I have my doubts.
This might be nice for just a highlight color, but I haven't tested that out yet.
I'm not too disappointed because I really didn't have high expectations for it. It looks pretty in the packaging, but looks can be deceiving!
This product was definitely
a flop for me! Luckily this product was pretty cheap, around (just over or under I think) $5.

Have you tried these Rimmel Blushes, or have had luck with any of the darker shades? Let me know your thoughts!

  1. I never tried any Rimmel blushes :( I only have tried their mascaras and eyeliners but have never ventured out of that zone.

  2. I'm so glad you did this review because I always die over how cute this blush is! I've heard the other Rimmel blushes that are kind of square are great! Sad this one isn't as great as other Rimmel products!

  4. I've tried other Rimmel blushes before but never this one. It's a shame too because the pattern on it is very cute. Their other blushes are okay in my own experience. Not the worst out there, but nothing to get excited over.

  6. I have the one in medium and I actually like it! It gives a nice glow on the cheeks and it has a good pigmentation to it but not too overly pigmented in my opinion. :)
