Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara Review

Hello!! Revlon's Grow Luscious line has a new mascara called the Bold Lacquer lengthening and volumizing mascara. Back in the day Grow Luscious use to be my favorite mascara before I branched out and started trying different brands like Maybelline and L'Oreal. I don't like the original grow luscious anymore,  but everytime a new one comes out I like to try them.

The packaging is pretty and I love the colors in it.

The brush is pretty big but not quite as big as their last mascara called Lash Potion.

The Lash Potions Brush is a little bit wider and more fluffy looking.

How it looks on my lashes

My lashes with no mascara.

One coat of the Bold Lacquer Mascara.

Two coats.

Three coats on the top lashes, and one on the bottom lashes.

My thoughts on this Mascara
-I like this better than any of the grow luscious formulas that I have tired so far.
-I would say this is a more dry formula, but it's a tiny bit sticky. This doesn't bother me, and I don't find it clumping much.
-It does take a lot of coats to build up since it's a little dry.
-It gives my lashes great volume and thickness. The length is pretty good but not the best that I've had before
-It's easy to remove, which is a plus.

Overall I like this mascara, but it's not one of my all time favorites. I will finish it up but it's not one that I would repurchase.

Have you tried this new revlon mascara yet? Leave your thoughts on it in the comments!

  2. I think this looks really good on your lashes! I like that it's not overly dramatic & more for an everyday natural eye. I don't think I've ever tried any mascaras from Revlon because I use mostly Maybelline. My favorite is Colossal Cat Eyes!

  4. hi, i was wondering what you thought of the color payoff? if this is the correct revlon mascara that i'm thinking of, this is the one that they market to be more intense black than other brands. did you find that to be true? i am not a revlon fan; i, only recently, purchased my first lip butters and balms, which i like. i am a sucker for mascara, so i have been thinking of getting this one, the loreal baby doll, and the new maybelline (there's always a new maybelline). if you don't think this one is noticeably darker than any other "blackest black," then i won't bother.

    1. I have heard that this mascara is suppose to be blacker than other ones! I really didn't find that to be true, honestly. I thought it has the same blackness as my other ones. I wouldn't really bother with this one, it's okay but not amazing lol!
