Vegan Makeup #2- Mineral Fusion Eyeshadow Review

Hi :)
Today I have another makeup product review from a vegan makeup company! I did a review for a blush by Emani which was a vegan brand as well, and I mentioned at the end of that post that I would be doing another review for a different vegan company.

Last week I was in Whole Foods, and they carry a vegan makeup brand called Mineral Fusion. I was really drawn to their eyeshadows because they all looked so gorgeous. I picked up an eyeshadow trio, and I had a really hard time only choosing one to get.

I'm going to put some info about this makeup company after pictures and swatches!

This trio is $25 but was on sale for $15. The name of this is called Espresso Gold.

The top picture is taken without a flash, and the bottom with a flash.

Left picture without flash, and right one with a flash. These are swatched with no primer underneath.

This company offers a wide verity of products including all makeup types, nail polish, skin and body care, and hair care products.

My thoughts on this eyeshadow trio-
-I was really excited to try these eyeahdaows because all of the colors they had looked so beautiful. I wanted all of them!
-When I swatched them I was really surprised at how pigmented and vibrant the colors were. They felt really buttery and smooth.
-When I put them on my eyes they were a little bit powdery, and I thought they looked more pigmented swatched. They did blend easily and didn't mud together.
- I still liked the eye look I did with this and can see myself using it a lot regardless.
-I thought the quality was good for what I paid, but it definitely didn't match other high end shadows like Urban Decay or Lorac.
-I don't think I would have paid the full price ($25) for this, but for the discount I got on it I was pleased!

I would like to try Mineral Fusions blushes and Bronzers next time and see how they are!

Have you tried Mineral Fusion before? If so, let me know your thoughts in the comments!

  1. Eyeshadows can be so funny when it comes to application. I've been disappointed many times. Glad you can work with these.

  3. Never even heard of this brand but they do look pretty. Comparable to any mid-range brand which is nice and free of all the ickies! Great review!

  4. I've never heard of this company before, but these shadows are pretty! I agree I wouldn't have paid $25 for the trio, but $15 isn't bad. Thanks for sharing, Ashley!
