It's been forever and a day since I've posted a makeup look on my blog. This needs to change LOL. I've gotten into such a funk of doing my makeup the same everyday because I'm running late for work. I literally switch between 2-3 neutral looks that all look that same. I don't know what's wrong with me people!
Anyways! Today I pulled out my Lorac Pro Palette, which I have been wanted to use forever and finally did. I rediscovered how much I love it so I was happy.
I did a pretty smokey Eyelook for Fall using some plum shades, and did something a little different on my lower lash line from the usual.
How I got this look
-I first used Mac painterly paint pot to prime my eyes.
-First I used Taupe (3rd shade on top row) as my transition color and blended it all over my lid, crease, and up to my brow bone.
-Next I used Mauve (5th shade on top row) in my crease and blended it up to my brow bone as well.
-For the crease I mixed Espresso (2nd to last shade on top row) and Deep Purple (right underneath espresso) and blended it out.
-I took more of Deep Purple and focused it more in the inner corner.
-I also used Espresso on my lower lash line.
-I used Pewter (5th shade bottom row) all over my lid.
-For the inner corner highlight I used Nude (first shade bottom row).
-For my water line I used Urban Decay 24/7 glide on shadow pencil in the color Rehab. I normally do black liner in my water line but I wanted to try something different today.
-For mascara I used L'Oreal Telescopic.
I hope you all enjoyed this fall eye look and thank you for reading!
Very pretty! I love this eye makeup look! Lorac Pro Palette is a great palette to use! I'm surprised I haven't used mine in a while lol. I'll probably take it out soon though!

Thanks Jenny! Aww you would love this palette! Is it not available where you are from??
DeleteSuch a beautiful look, especially for the fall! I have a silly question though, what do you mean by you used Taupe as your transition color? (I'm a total newbie when it comes to eyeshadow, can't you tell?)
ReplyDeleteThanks Hillary!! When I say I used it as a transition color I mean I use it as kind of a base so when I apply it first, and then apply other shadows it makes them blend better together. instead of having harsh lines the transition color will help transition each color into one another. I hope that makes sense! I'm not good at explaining LOL!! Try using a light brown or skin toned color all over your lid all the way up to your brow bone next time you do your makeup before your other shadows and when you blend them you will see what I mean!
Deletehey ashley! it's so easy to get into a makeup rut. i used the same products and colors all the time for awhile. so i went out and purchased new things. hahaha I'm challenging myself to create new looks everyday. hahaha love the look you put together. your eyes look so pretty. hope all is well doll.
