I think the phrase 'dupe alert!' is appropriate for this post!
You all know that the Anastasia Brow Wiz is my holy grail brow pencil. I've used it for years and it's amazing.
BUT so is the new Nyx Micro Brow pencil. And it's half the freaking price.
-They both have a very fine tip that makes it easy to pencil in your brows in a natural way.
-They both have a spooly
-The two colors I have are identical in color. The anastasia one is on top, and Nyx on the bottom.
Anastasia Brow Wiz
•Pros
-Goes on very smooth
-Looks natural
-The spooly is the best I've ever used
•Cons
-$21 at Sephora/Ulta. A bit pricey for a pencil I have to buy every 1-2 months.
Nyx Micro Brow
•Pros
-only $10 at Ulta. Nyx is usually buy one get one 50% off, plus you can use the $3 off coupon on $10 or more on Nyx. So you can get 2 pencils for like $17.
-This also looks really natural
•Cons
-The Anastasia one goes on a bit more smooth than this, but I don't think it's a reason to overlook the Nyx one.
-I do prefer the Anastasia spooly, but again, not a reason to overlook.
Final thoughts
I love both pencils! But given that the Nyx is way cheaper and works just as great, I'm not going to be saving myself some money and going for the cheaper one!
