Stila Holiday Set Review + Video Tutorial

Hi ;)
Today I have a review for the Stila Sending My Love Holiday set AND a makeup tutorial using everything that came in it!!

I picked this up during the Sephora VIB sale. I don't usually go for Stila makeup but I wanted the blush bronzer and highlight palette that came inside. I think the packaging for this set is gorgeous.

Eye shadows
You get 5 shades in this palette and they are all beautiful colors. I was super impressed when I swatched these. The only one that doesnt show up well is the light pink on the end.  These also applied well on my eyes. The first matte brown shade was a little hard to blend, but the other were buttery and smooth.

Here's the eye look I created and it's the same one that you will see in the video tutorial!

Cheek Palette
I'm a huge sucker for cheek palettes. The bronzer in this one is okay. It's not my favorite but it's not bad, and It blends easily. The blush is a pretty cool toned matte pink. It also blends well and it's not overly pigmented so it looks natural. The highlight is definitely the star of this palette. It's absolutely gorgeous and is the main reason why I was drawn to this cheek palette!

I tried to get a good picture showing me wearing the cheek products. Sorry for the bathroom pic!

Lip gloss and eyeliner
I'm not much of a lip gloss person so I don't see myself using this often, but the shade of this is pretty. The liner is nice and didn't smudge or run on me.

Overall thoughts
-This is definitely a great set. The shadows are gorgeous, and the highlight alone makes the cheek palette worth it!
-I didn't notice any fading of the shadows or cheek products throughout the day so I'd say they are long wearing.
-I might not use the lipgloss or eyeliner often, but they were nice extras in the set.

And here is the video tutorial if you want to see the products in action! This video was my first time using the set, but I've definitely been reaching for these almost everyday!

  3. I would buy the set just for the packaging haha, it's gorgeous and so festive! I've never tried anything from Stila, but they seem to have really nice things for their price point.

  10. Ohhhhh Ashley! Your eyes look so gorgeous! What beautiful shades. I've been eyeing their new collection. I like the one shaped like a letter. Stila has been hit and miss for me in the past so that's why I stayed away. Looks like they got their act together. BEAUTIFUL.
