LUSH HAUL

Hi beautiful people!
Today I'm sharing a lush haul along with a few Mac goodies that I picked up.

A few of these items were Christmas gifts and others were purchases with gift cards that I received for Xmas. You all know that I swear by Lush products and a lot of these are repurchase for me!

First up is the Catastrophe Cosmetic fresh face mask that I've repurchased tons of times. I got this one free from bringing back 5 clean empty containers to the store. Next is the Celestial Moisturizer, which I've talked about a million times. It's by far the best Moisturizer that I've ever used.

Next is the Sleepy Hand and Body Lotion. This is a new product to me and it's by far the best hand lotion from Lush that I've used. I've loved the other lotions I've tried from Lush as well but this one is definitely the winner. It's s sweet lavender scent and I'm obsessed.

The Honey Trap lip balm is another product that I've purchased quite a bit of times from Lush. No lip balm that I've tried compares to this.

And the Bubbly Shower Gel is another new product for me. This is a mini size that came with a gift set I received for Christmas. It's an amazing shower gel, smells amazing, and also doesn't dry out my already dry skin (thanks winter!). I'll definitely be purchasing a full size of this in the future.

Next up are some bath bombs. From left to right are Yoga Bomb, Twilight, and Golden Wonder. I've tried all 3 of these before and love them all.
And on the bottom of those photo is the Fresh Pharmacy Face Bar. I tried a sample of this and fell in love. I couldn't wait to purchased a huge piece of it and this is now my daily face cleanser. *Does anyone want to see a updated skin care routine?*

Lastly are two goodies from Mac. I ran out of my Pro Longwear concealer so that is a repurchase from me. I also wanted a new blush and picked out Mac Pro Longwear blush in Make You Mine. If anyone is interest in a review for this blush with swatches let me know!

Have you tried any of these products before? If so, let me know your thoughts on them in the comments!

Lush Monthly | Cinders and Golden Wonder Bath Bombs

Hi :)
I have tons of Lush goodies to share, and  I want to do reviews for all of the items I picked up from my Lush Haul last week plus a few other items I've gotten recent-ish that I haven't reviewed yet.

So I'm starting a new series again called Lush Monthly. I know I keep starting blog series because maybe it makes me feel fancy why not? I decided to do a monthly post sharing one or two things from Lush in this post series because some of these could be done in a skin care Sunday post, but some can't and this just seems more fun.

Anyways- today I'm sharing my thoughts on two of the bath bombs that were in my Lush Haul.

Cinders
I mentioned in my haul video that I might have used this one before and now I'm pretty sure I did. This one is suppose to be 'sweet and spicy' with popping candies. It smelled a bit like cinnamon and a bit like citrus.
The popping candies were fun and I liked the scent of this one. It dissolved pretty quickly which I prefer them to last longer. The water was a yellow/orange shade which didn't pick up well in the pictures.

This one was okay. Smelled nice but I probably wouldn't repurchase it.

Golden Wonder
Golden Wonder shaped like a present so I thought that was cute. This one is described as zesty lime and sweet orange oil. A golden luster and sparkling turquoise explosion.

This one also dissolved pretty fast, but the scent was amazing and left the water a pretty turquoise color.
My favorite part was all these pretty star glitters were left after it dissolved. These also melted/dissolved after time which was nice so it didn't leave the tub messy.

I would definitely repurchase this one when it comes out again for Christmas time.

Have you tried either of these bath bombs?  Which product would you like to see in my next Lush Monthly Post?

Lush Haul | Bath Bombs and Skin Care!

Hello! Welcome to my first Lush haul of 2016!

My mom got me a Lush gift card for Christmas which made me super excited. I love Lush (as you all probably know) but I don't get to go very often since there is only 3 in Michigan and they are all almost an hour away from my house. I don't order online usually for a few different reasons- mainly because the shipping takes forever and is usually kind of expensive, and also I like to see the products in person and ask questions about them. Their bath bombs can easily break a little in the mail (which you will see me rant about in the video!).

Anyways, I did end up ordering online because some of their items were buy one get one free, so I could not pass up that deal. Most were bath products and from the holiday collections, so I got some of those, and some skin care items that I've been wanting to try out as well!

Sorry for the crappy quality of this photo, with all the shadows and bad lighting! I really wanted to use one of the bath bombs when my order arrived, and I kind of forgot to take a photo for the video thumbnail and blog post until after it was dark outside and the lighting wasn't very good.

Anyways, enjoy my haul video!

Also- I've switched the comment section to the Google+ one. I've been wanting to change the comment section of my blog for a while now, but I haven't due to laziness. I like how to Google+ and Disqus notifies you when someone responds to your comments. On the original blogger one, you have to click notify me, and it notifies you when everyone comments and you have to go back thriough and see when the blog owner replies. Google+ and Disqus emails you directly and its just easier. I reply to every comment on my blog, and I want my followers to see when I reply and see my response so thats why I changed it! I originally wanted the Disqus system but it seemed complicated and since my dumbs is no good with tech things, I didn't feel like dealing with it so I went with Google+ and it was super easy! Do you guys like this form of commenting better?

Lush Yog Nog Bath Bomb

Hello!!

This will be my last post until after Christmas so I wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas if you and your families celebrate! And a Happy Birthday to my good friend Pilar who's birthday is on Christmas as well!!

Today I'm going to share one of the Lush Bath Bombs that I picked up at the end of November! I picked up two of them, and I believe they were both new ones that came out for the holiday season. I shared some pictures and clips of the yoga bomb a month or so ago on Instagram, but today I'm going to share my thoughts on Yog Nog!

This bath bomb was inspired by vegan egg nog. On lush's website this is described as "Spicy clove bud oil stimulates the senses while soy milk powder and organic shea butter create creamy, comforting waters. Luxuriate in comforting toffee soaks with clouds of gold and a touch of luster".

This immediately turned my bath water fluorescent yellow.

After a minute or so the top half fizzed away and this is what it looked like. The center was kind of like a bath melt, so that was kind of cool. It felt really
creamy and soft. It kind of looked like the yolk of an egg, which makes since since its egg nog inspired, but I thought that was kind of....strange. And since I personally think eggs are gross (other than the delicious Panera egg soufflés I shared recently, I know I'm weird), I was a little turned off by this.

The scent was okay, not my favorite. I prefer bath bombs that change colors more, but I didn't mind the fluorescent yellow much. The was some glitter but nothing over the top like some of the bath bombs have. And I did like the concept of a two in one bomb/melt, I just wish it didn't resemble eggs LOL! This is one I wouldn't repurchase, but I do like to try them all so I can't complain much.

What is your favorite bath bomb?

Beauty Haul #3- Target, Lush, and the Balm

Hello Everyone! If you read my blog, you will soon find out that I have a shopping problem. I buy way too much makeup and beauty products!! I'm going to share all of my recents beauty product purchases which are from Target, Lush, and some makeup from the Balm that I got off of Hautelook a few weeks ago when it was on sale.

From Target
The first two items I picked up are the Olay oil minimizing toner and the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. These are products that I always repurchase, and I'm almost out of the ones I'm using now.
These are two products I've never used before. I was wanting to try this Maybelline Clean Express makeup remover but I kept forgetting to pick it up. I thought it looks different than other kinds because the product kind of looks like a gel so I was curious about how this would work. They also have a lotion formula and a liquid one thats for waterproof makeup. I also picked up these Simple cleansing facial wipes because I have been on the hunt for a new kind. I recently tried some by Olay but didn't like them, and I am tired of my Neutrogena ones. These are also cheaper than the Neutrogena ones, and since I go through so many of them they can get expensive!

This first product is the Covergirl & Olay simple ageless Foundation. Since I liked the Covergirl & Olay simply ageless eye corrector, I thought I would try the Foundation. I love trying new foundations lately and I also love the Covergirl outlast foundation so I am excited to try out this one. The next makeup product is the L'Oreal carbon black extra intense liquid eye pencil. This is the thrid L'Oreal eyeliner I've bought this month (ugh I have a problem!). I recently heard that this is really comparable and a good dupe for the Urban Decay 24/7 liner in perversion, which is why I picked it up because that is my all time favorite eyeliner. Since the UD one is so expensive, I would love a cheaper alternative! The last item I picked up from Target was this little Elf Kabuki brush

From the Balm
The Balm was on Hautelook a few weeks ago and I got really excited because I have always wanted the Mary Lou Manizer. I love buying makeup off of Hautelook because everything is so cheap! I also picked up an eyeshadow and crease brush, and a loose eyeshadow pigment.

I absolutely love this highlighter. It's so pretty and it applies so nice to my skin.
This pigment is really pretty as well. I believe it's called If you're Rich, I'm Single.

Here are swatches of the eyeshadow and the highlighter.

From Lush

OK, I'm super addicted to these bath bombs by lush. I'm obsessed with using these for some reason. I placed an online order from Lush's website last week because I was buying a gift for someone, so I decided to order 4 bath bombs as well.

The first one is called Dragons Egg, which is my favorite bath bomb so far. This is my 3rd time buying it and it's probably one that I will always purchase. The second one is called Pink Mini, which I really liked as well. It turned the water hot pink and it smells soo good!

The next two are called Uluru and Butterball. These are two that I have not tried yet before. I think the Uluru is one that you can only purchase from online.

This completes my haul, I hope you all enjoyed and thank you for reading!

Makeup and Lush Haul!

Hey everyone! Today I am going to share a haul from lush, Sephora, and Mac. This was only my second time at a Lush store, but it has became one of my favorite places to shop at. They have really amazing products, and they always give you a bunch of samples which is a huge plus! Buying makeup and beauty products always makes me super happy and I felt the need for some retail therapy today!

Makeup:

One of the last times I went to Sephora, I asked for a sample of the Kat Von D Lock-it Tattoo Foundation and I loved it so much that I decided to buy the full size of it. This foundation is amazing and it has such great coverage. It covers everything! I also purchased a Beauty Blender. I have not tried these before but it has been something I have been wanting to try for a while now. I was probably do a review for this product once I try it out. From Mac I needed a new eye brow pencil since I ran out of mine. This is my favorite eyebrow pencil to use. I always use it in the color Brunette.

From Lush:
I know some of the labels on this picture are hard to see, but I purchased the small size of the Mask of Magnaminty. I mentioned this product in my skin care routine post a few weeks ago. I had some samples from my pervious time at lush and I really loved this face mask so I decided to get the small size of it. I also got 3 bath bombs (from left to right- Dragons egg, honey bee, and geo phyzz), which are also wonderful and smell amazing. I purchased a lip balm called Honey Trap, and the rest are samples that they gave me. The first one is called Ultrabland which is a cleanser and a good makeup remover. The second one is a Tea Tree Toner. The third same is called Ocean Salt, which is a face and body scrub. And the last sample I got is the Enchanted Eye Cream. I have never used an eye cream before but it is also a product that I have wanted to try out for a long time. I'm so excited to try out all of these products! Look out for reviews for these also!

I know this isn't beauty related, but I was super excited because my husband bought me a pair of Sperry's that I wanted!
Yay :)

I hope you all enjoyed my haul and thank you for reading!
