Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation Review

Hello Everyone!! Today I am going to be doing a review for the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Foundation. After trying out a sample of this at Sephora last summer I decided that I was going to wait to purchase this foundation until Urban Decay was having a Friends and Family sale for 20% off everything on their website. I was really excited to get foundation for a little bit cheaper than normal price because this foundation is a bit pricey at $39.00  ! I'm a huge fan of Urban Decay Makeup so I was pretty excited when I got this in the mail last week!

The packaging for this foundation is really nice. It has a pump, which I love, and it is very sleek. It is a pretty big bottle, so I expect that it will last a long time as well. It's easy to shake up because there is a ball or something inside when you shake it (kind of like nail polish lol!).

What this foundation claims to do

"Not only does our new light-as-air foundation give you the buildable coverage you desire – it also looks and feels like you're wearing absolutely nothing.

Naked Skin uses light-diffusing spheres to 'blur' imperfections for a luminous, demi-matte finish that feels invisible but looks professionally retouched. Naked Skin is oil-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, and loaded with nourishing ingredients."

There are 18 different shades of this foundation, and there are ones for both warm and cool toned skin. I have really pale skin with warm undertones and I got the shade 2.0 and it matches perfect. The shades ending in zero are for warm tones, and the shades ending in 5 are cool tones.

My Thoughts on this foundation

This foundation is very light weight and natural feeling like it claims to be. It feels really nice on the skin, and it does feel like you aren't wearing any foundation either. I would say that this is a light coverage foundation but it build able to medium coverage. Since this is a little bit lighter coverage, I like to wear it on my 'good skin days', or basically when I just don't feel like caking up my face in a full coverage and thick foundation.
Even though this is a lighter coverage foundation, I still think it covers my skin pretty well. It covers any redness or acne scars that I have without problem and it still looks really natural at the same time.
The formulation and consistency of this foundation is a bit runny and thin, but it's not messy (watery) or hard to work with.
It blends in really nicely into my skin and gives a flawless effect.  I like applying this best so far with a stippling brush since it doesn't dry super fast. This way I can really work it into my skin and add another layer if I don't think the first one is enough coverage.
This is a really nice foundation that I would recommend to anyone who was thinking about trying this! If you are unsure, get a sample from Sephora to test it out!

Have you tried this foundation before? If so, leave your thoughts on it in the comments below!
