Celebrity Inspired Makeup Collab with Chelsea | All Drugstore

Hi :) Today's post is another makeup collab with my wonderful friend Chelsea from TigerLoveBeauty! We did a collab last month together, and now this month we are doing one on celebrity inspired makeup and continuing our all drugstore makeup trend!

Be sure to check out Chelsea's blog post too so you can see what celebrity she chose for this post!!

So for my makeup look, I picked to re create a look that Jennifer Lopez wore one night on American Idol. It was a night a few weeks ago when she preformed her new song from a movie called 'Feel the Light', which I will link somewhere in this post if you want to watch it and see this gorgeous makeup in action.

Now I know I don't look anything like this bronzed goddess (practically albino over here!!), but I couldn't get over this eyemakeup so that is my main focus of this post!
I hope this video is s good quality one, blogging from my phone here so you never know :(

Let's get into it! (I don't know why I always feel compelled to write these long intros in all my posts!!)

Face Makeup

Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation and Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Hard Candy Sculpting Trio, Physicians Formula Shimmer Palette, Nyx Micro Brow Pencil.

For my lips I used Nyx lip liner in natural and Nyx butter gloss in Creme brûlée.

Eye Makeup
For this eye makeup, JLO had intense gold lids with tons of glitter, and a dark navy smokey eye. She didn't have a winged liner, but since I can't function without one I had to include it.

-For my eye lids I used the Maybelline Color Tattoo base in Rold Gold, and the Maybelline Pigment in Barely Brazen over top. Then I used a mixture of the two Nyx Roller Ball Gliltters in the colors Nude and  Almond, and some of the Hard Candy Glitter over top.
-For my crease I used the dark navy shade from the Nyx smokey eyes palette.
-For my eyeliners I used Loreal Lineur Intense Liquid liner and Silkissime Pencil liner. For my Mascars I used Maybelline Falsies.

This look was super fun to do, and it would be great to wear on a night out, or to a fancy party!

I hope you all enjoyed this makeup look, and thank you again to Chelsea for doing this collab with me!!

  8. I LOVE this makeup!! Reminds me of how the sky looks when the sun has just set, it's beautiful. I've always wanted to try the NYX rollerball glitters, I remember wanting them years ago but I ended up forgetting about them until you posted :P Adding this to the list of eye looks I have to recreate!
