The Elephant Pants

Can you believe it's already December? I definitely can't! I hope everyone had a great November, and my November lifestyle post will be up sometime this weekend.

By the title of this post, I wonder how many of you said 'what the heck are elephant pants?'  Well let me tell you, they are my new obsession.

I posted a picture of me wearing some a few weeks ago on Instagram that were given to me by my friend when her mom got her a ton while visiting Vietnam. And that is how this obsession got started.

I found this company called 'The Elephant Pants' on Facebook and after checking out their website my brain went crazy.

Some info about The Elephant Pants
From the elephant pants website
'the elephant pants is a corporate sponsor of the African Wildlife Foundation. To help save the elephants, we donate $1 or $4 from every item (harem pants, shorts, tapestries, rompers, mystery boxes, jewelry, and more). What about the people behind our products? We have an amazing team of talented seamstresses and production gurus at our factory in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our team is paid double the standard wage, provided with health care, and given a great environment to work in. We ensure that each member of the team understands where their hard work goes, from their hands to your next favorite article of clothing.'

Sorry that was a little lengthy, but you can click the link above to read more about this company if you don't feel like reading right now!

What they have
They have tons of fun patterns for pants, shorts, rompers, shirts, bags, and tapestries. They also have some accessories too! And as someone who loves elephants and is very passionate about animals I was super happy to see this company helping to save elephants.

Now into the good stuff!

Since I loved all the patterns and I'm very indecisive, I opted for their 'Mystery Box'. Inside a mystery box ($25) you get one pair of pants (all the same pattern, you get one of the 5 colors), and a few surprise gifts. I was kind of nervous not knowing what color pants I would get but I was super happy to get the black and white ones! They do not offer this same mystery box anymore but have replaced it with another box, and I love the patterns for the new ones!

The mystery gifts were a cute pair of elephant ear phones and two elephant bracelets. I kept the black bracelet in the package because I'm saving it for a Christmas gift for a friend. I love how cute these are!

They also put an elephant sticker in my box, which I excitedly put on my laptop instead of saving it for blog photos. And here's a close up of the cute elephant ear phones.

Here's a better picture of the pants, and some shorts that I picked out. hate paying for shipping so I chose a pair of shorts to get the shipping free. Both are high waited, loose fitting, and very comfortable and I'm currently wearing the shorts for pajamas, but I think they will be cute for the summer time.

My overall thoughts
-I'm very happy with my purchases, and I'm definitely wanting to buy more!
-The quality is nice, and like I said before, they are very comfortable! The legs of the pants are loose fitting. I'm not a fan of the high waist, so I just fold them down to fit on my hips.
-The shipping was super fast, and my order processed right away.
-It's so hard not to buy one of everything on their website! You can probably expect some more hauls from me in the future!

Have you heard of elephant pants before? Let me know your thoughts on them!

    1. LOL! I've seen some at stores in the US but they were more of cotton/boho patterned and I was never interested in them. But I want ALL of these elephant pants lol!! And every company that I've seen are based somewhere in Asia. To me that's so cool because I love to have things from other countries haha!
