Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure

I know you all have heard about the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes that came out a new months ago but I just picked one up and I thought I would share my thoughts on it!

This is the first Hourglass makeup product that I have tried. After hearing so much about the Ambient Lighting Powders, I knew I wanted to try one of these blushes when they came out. They are more on the expensive side, so I held off for a while. When I got a 15% off sephora coupon, I knew right away I wanted one of these blushes!

These are priced at $35.

The packaging is a really pretty, and looks classy and sleek.

The color I chose was Mood Exposure. I knew I wanted this one because it's a pretty plum color, but at the same time it's still pretty neutral (ish). Most blushes I own are pink, coral, ect. and I don't own many this color.

Here is a swatch taken with the camera flash on.

A little bit about this product
"Hourglass has fused Ambient Powder with an array of vivid cheek colors, creating a hybrid product that is unique, contemporary, and revolutionary. Ambient Lighting Blush uses Photoluminescent Technology to exhibit depth and dimension. The airy, lightweight powders contain optically transparent particles that amplify the colors to a multidimensional level.

Each hand-made blush is formulated using an advanced miscelare technique to creating the perfect balance of pigment and powder, and no two look alike. They deliver a radiant, natural finish and offer buildable color to imbue the entire complexion with an otherworldly glow."

Mood Exposure
Mood Exposure is described as "Soft plum blush fused with Mood Light to brighten the complexion".

My thoughts on this blush
-I was so beyond excited to get this blush. To me it just feels more of a 'luxury' makeup items as opposed to my normal Mac or benefit blushes. (Not that either is better/less quality, I just rarely spend this much money on a blush lol).
-This powder really finely milled so it's really silky and blends super easily.
-It has a satin finish, but isn't overly shimmery. It just has a natural but beautiful sheen to it.
-I think the pigmentation is good, and definitely buildable.

Overall I can't say enough great things about this blush! If I pick up any more, it will definitely be Ethereal Glow, which is a light, cool toned pink!

Have you tried these Hourglass blushes? What is your favorite shade? Let me know in the comments!
