Sephora VIB Sale + Lush Haul

Hello! I wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving for tomorrow!

Today I'm sharing what I purchased during the Sephora VIB sale, and some goodies I picked up from Lush while I was at the mall!

I really wanted to film a video for this, but I'm having issues with my memory card. Every time I try to delete the files from my Mac, it tells me that it's unable to delete them. I also went to get a new memory card from target yesterday, but my dumbass got distracted by all the targetness that target has, and forgot.

Anyways- I just decided to do a blog post because otherwise I'd have to wait till next week to film. I still will film a haul of any of you want to see the products in action, so let me know.

Long intro/rant aside, let's get into the haul!

Sephora

First thing I picked up was the Stila Holiday gift set. This was a totally impulse buy, and I don't usually gravitate towards Stila products. But I think this set is nice since it comes with a lot. It has a shadow palette with 5 shades, a blush bronzer and highlight trio which you all know I'm a sucker for, a lip gloss, and an eye liner.

I picked up the Becca highlighter in Moonstone, which I already did a review on.

The last thing I picked up was this Nars shadow duo in Kalahari.

With my points I chose a delux size of the Philosophy Miracle worker night cream. I didn't get much from Sephora because I was trying not to go crazy like I did last year. I didn't need much, but I knew I wanted a Nars duo and the Becca highlight.

Lush

I picked up two bath bombs, both I haven't tried before. Yog Nog is on the Left, and Yoga bomb on the right. I had to get the yoga one because well, it's call yoga bomb.
Next I wanted to get another of the Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask. The last thing is the Celestial Face Moisturizer. I tried a sample of this a long time ago and I've been wanting the full size for a while. My skin has been super unhappy lately so I decided to splurge and get this!

I will definitely be doing a review for the Stila set, the Nars duo, the Lush Moisturizer, and I'll probably share both bath bombs either on here or my Instagram! I also have a makeup tutorial using the Stila set that I need to edit!

Did you pick up anything from the Sephora Sale? Let me know in the comments!!

Stila Stay All Day Bronzer Review

Hi :)
I picked up the Stila Stay All Day Bronzer a few weeks ago and I'm ready to share my thoughts on it. This was sort of an impulse buy for me, but when I saw how pretty it was I couldn't help myself.

Here's photos with no flash (left), with flash (right) and a swatch. This comes in 3 shades- light, medium, and dark. You can find this at Ulta and Sephora (both online and in stores) for $36. I found that in store at Sephora only offered the shade medium, but they have all three on their website. Ulta has all three in stores and online. The color I chose was Medium. This comes with .53 oz of product, while other bronzer that I own come with .28 oz (Nars and Benefit) so it's quite large in comparison for around the same price.

Bronzer Claims
From Sephora.com
What it is:
A lightweight, matte-satin bronzing powder for the face and body.
What it does:
This oil-free bronzer sculpts and shapes your features while creating an allover, glowing look. Its velvety texture blends seamlessly onto the face and body without streaking or caking, and the fade-proof pigments stay true all day. The patented, high-performance pigments are uniquely coated to provide superior wear, higher color payoff, and a softer texture for the ultimate, healthy-looking glow.
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates

•Pros
-The price is good for the amount of product you get.
-The packaging is beautiful and comes with a large mirror inside. It's very slim so great for travel and storage.
-The shade range is nice.
-I do agree with the claims that it stays all day and doesn't fade.

Cons
-I found this medium shade to be kind of light for me, which was surprising. It swatched really nice in stores and looked more cool toned but I thought it was kind of warm on my skin. It wasn't orange so that's a plus, and it is slightly buildable but that's kind of annoying.
-It doesn't blend as well as my other Bronzers do.

Overall thoughts
-This is just an okay product for me. I like it, but I don't love it, and I don't hate it (does that make sense??).
-I love how much product you get, but this isn't one I'll reach for often.
-If my skin was more tan then I definitely wouldn't be able to use this for contouring, so if you skin tone is darker than mine I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe try the darker shade, but I think it would be too dark for me.
-If you're new to the bronzing and contouring world and you have a lighter complexion, then you might like this!
-I'm also kind of not surprised that I feel this way about it because I haven't had much luck with Stila eyeshadows, but I really was hoping to like this!
-I would rate this a 3/5 stars!

Have you tried out the Stila Stay All Day Bronzer? What is your favorite bronzer??

Stila All Over Shimmer Duo in Kitten Review!

Hello!!  I recently picked up the Stila All Over Shimmer Duo in Kitten from Sephora. I've had my eye on this duo for a while now but I never picked it up because for some reason I rarely purchase new highlighters.  This one is priced at $22 and you get two beautiful shades inside so in my opinion it's not too bad in price. A lot of other ones that I own/want are around $30 or more.

The packaging for this is cute and both shades in this duo are so gorgeous.

Swatches of the darker side on top and lighter side on bottom.
The bronze color is a little dark for me to use as a highlight unless I use it with a light hand.
The lighter side gives off a nice glow with a pink tint.
They are also super pretty when you mix them together.

The really great thing about this duo is that it's really versatile. Not only can you use it as a highlighter, you could either use the darker bronze color or mix them together and build up the color for a nice more natural blush.
Also these can be used as eyeshadows as well! Since the colors look so great together, you can throw the lighter color on your lid and the bronze color in your crease. This gives you a really light, natural look thats effortless but still pretty at the same time.

This is how the duo turned out as eyeshadow, but I used a tiny bit on Satin Taupe by Mac in my outer corner to give my eyes a little bit more definition.

I used this as a highlight on my cheek bones as well, but it didn't pick up well on camera when I tried to take a picture.

Overall I'm pretty obsessed with this product. I can't believe I waited so long to pick this up and it's now probably going to be one of my favorite and most used makeup items!

Have you tried this Stila Duo before? Tell me your thoughts on it!
