Urban Decay vs L'Oreal: Dupe for Urban Decay 24/7 liners!!

Hey Everyone!! If you have read any of my makeup or FOTD posts, then you will know that the Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion is my favorite eyeliner to use in my waterline. I had a hard time finding an eyeliner that stay in my waterline and lower lash line as well as this one does, and one that doesn't wear off or smudge throughout the day. This eyeliner is very, very black and has a really creamy formulation. It is a liner than you sharpen, but the tip is really soft unlike a lot of the other eye pencils that are stiff and don't transfer easily onto your skin. I recently heard that L'Oreal had a dupe for this liner, which is the Carbon Black Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner.  Of course I had to try this because who wouldn't want to find a cheaper version of their favorite eyeliner? I'm going to post some pictures and swatches and then share my thoughts on this product!

These products are about the same size when first purchased. I have been using the UD one since May.

The eyeliner it's self looks almost identical.

Here are the two eyeliners swatches. The L'Oreal one on top, and the UD one on bottom. They both also look identical when swatched.

My Thoughts on These Two Products

Like I said before, the UD eyeliner is my favorite liner ever. It stays on my waterline and lower lash line through out the day.
The L'Oreal eyeliner does exactly that as well. I was surprised on how similar these two eyeliners were.  The both have the same great long lasting effect. The both have the same creamy and soft formulation and texture. Side by side you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two products.
I think this L'Oreal liner is a perfect dupe for the Urban Decay one.
The Urban Decay liner runs at $19. The L'Oreal liner runs at about $8 at Walmart and Target. There is a huge price difference in the two and the L'Oreal liner is much for affordable.
This Urban Decay liner has always been a splurge for me. I have only purchased it when I had a gift card or a percentage off coupon from Sephora or any other place that it is sold. I still love this liner and I might still repurchase it again once day, but for now I think I will stick to this L'Oreal one because it is just as great!

Thank you all for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
