So I have realized that for some one who works in a nail salon (I may or may not have mentioned that before LOL) I never do any nail related posts! Other than an occasional 'hey these are my favorite nail polishes for this season', I haven't done any posts that are nail related. If anyone would like to see more nail posts please let me know! I can do ones on Nail art, manicures, about polishes etc.
Anyways, I am going to share my favorite base at top coat that I use at home when I do my nails. And I say at home, because ironically, these aren't the ones I used at work. Don't ask why, because I don't really know LOL.
I have mentioned before that Essie is my favorite polish brand. Fortunately, I can get these at a super cheap price with my cosmetology license.
This is the Essie Protein Base Coat. It's suppose to improve that strength of your nails and make your manicure last longer. This is a cream white, natural color so it actually looks nice on it's own of you do two coats. I don't actually use this on my nails often, polish doesn't last for me at work so I usually have a gel manicure. I use this on my toes though when I paint them.
This is the Essie Top Coat called Good to Go. This is a fast drying too coat. Is it actually 'fast drying'? I don't think so. However, I do think it's a good top coat and worth checking out!
So this is all for my short post on my favorite base and too coat! And again, if anyone wants to see more nail related posts, please let me know!
Have you tried these before? If so leave your thoughts on them in the comments!
