Hi :)
Today I'm going to talk about the Bahama Mama bronzer from the Balm. I've had my eye on this bronzer for what seems like forever! I always wanted to try it out but thought it might be too dark for my skin tone. But I finally figured out that I actually prefer darker Bronzers used with a light hand because all the lighter ones come off too orange on me.
I kept a saying for a while that I would order this one next time I saw it on Hautelook. Well it was on there probably 3 times and I didn't order or because I really hate paying for shipping, especially if I'm only getting one thing.
ANYWAYS, enough of the long intro. I found this baby at Kohls a few weeks ago and I was so excited!
And here's a swatch. It's actually not as dark as I thought it was going to be. Which is fine because it's very buildable!
My overall thoughts
-I have to say, this is my new favorite bronzer!
-Like I said before, it's not super dark but it's a really great shade so it's really buildable.
-It blends super nice and doesn't get muddy looking.
-It's pretty pigmented but since it's not too dark, I don't have to use a light hand with it.
-I use this for contouring my cheek bones but I don't think it's something I would use to bronze up my whole face like I do with the Hoola bronzer.
-I really recommned this one if you can get your hands on it! I think it's a shade that would compliment a lot of different skin tones!
Have you tried this bronzer before? And what is your favorite bronzer at the moment? Let me know in the comments!
