Hello! I know everyone on blogger and youtube is doing Valentine's Day posts, but I wanted to join in on the fun!!! I just reviewed the Maybelline Brights palette in my last post and wanted to share some looks I created with it, so I did one for Valentine's Day using the pretty pink colors that are in there!
For my face
Benefit Porefessional Primer, Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation (review coming soon!), Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheeks Blush, Nars Laguna Bronzer, Hourglass Ambient Lightening Palette.
For the eyes
Then I used 2 (light pink) all over my lid over top of the color tattoo. I used 3 (bright fuchsia) in my cease and blended if out.
I finished up with a winged liner and mascara!
I hope you all enjoyed this look I created! What are your plans for Valentine's Day this year?
Absolutely gorgeous Ashley! The eyeshadow pigmentation looks good! I really want to try this palette, if I can ever find it lol! I wanted to spend Valentine's Day with my best friend, but since he's away at basic training I plan on watching some dvd's at home. Great post!ReplyDelete
Thanks Pilar!! I hope you can find this palette because I think you'll really like it and use it a lot for your colorful makeup looks! I hope you have a good Valentine's day and regardless, and watch some good movies!Delete
Thanks Ashley and I won't give up my search for this palette lol! I hope you and your husband have a wonderful Valentine's Day!Delete
Thanks so much Pilar!Delete
I've never thought pink would look good as eyeshadows but you certainly proved me wrong. Your eye makeup is gorgeous, Ashley and it has a soft romantic touch to it. And I always get eye lashes envy whenever I see an up close picture of your eyes, your lashes are gorgeous!ReplyDelete

Thanks so much Shireen!! I'm not a huge fan of pink shadows, unless they are super light for a lid color but I acutally did like this one I did!Delete
That is a gorgeous look Ashley! I hope you and your hubby have a great valentine's day!ReplyDelete
Thanks so much Margo! I hope you have a nice Valentine's day as well!!Delete
Those are pretty shades of pink and purple Ashley. When I hear brights, I start running for the hills, but these look great on. So thanks for doing a look. Perfect for Valentine's. Me? Nothing. LOL I don't have a valentine :(ReplyDelete
