Hello!!
Last week my awesome friend Becky sent me a package in the mail of a ton of makeup goodies (post coming soon!!) and in the package was the Too Faced à la mode palette. I was so excited because it's such a gorgeous palette and the colors in it are so fun for spring/summer!
I'm starting to play around with color more and break out of my neutral shell so I'm going to share an eye look I created with this palette!
I used the 2nd color on the top row called Cannes in my crease and blended it up to my brow bone. I used the 2nd color in the 2nd row called Jardin on the inner half of my lid, and the color underneath it on the bottom row called Monaco on the outter half of my lid and a little in the crease. I used the last color on the booth called De La Mer along my lower lash line.
I'm so in love with the palette and can't believe how gorgeous it is! I knew right away I wanted to use the hot pink color and use it to make some spring and summer eye looks!
I hope you guys enjoyed this makeup look and thanks for reading!!
I have always been scared to wear any pink or red shades on my eyes as it could immediately make me look sickly. But yours turned out pretty. Nice post Ashley.

I always have too, but I think of you pair them right with other shades then they look really nice!! Thank you so much!
DeleteOh, this is a really pretty eye makeup, Ashley! I stayed far away from bright pink/red eyeshadows because l am still learning how to blend my eyeshadows and such bright shades will turn out horrible on my lids.
ReplyDeleteWhile I usually stay away from colour palette, I must say that Too Faced palette is really pretty, I might just pick it up for myself to try.

Thank you Shireen! I usually stay away from these colors too but they were just too pretty not to use! And this palette is great because theres still a bunch of neutral shades in there too!!
DeletePink looks so good on you!! You pull it off so well Ashley!! :)

DeleteSo pretty! I'm useless when it comes to eye shadows, I normally stick with one basic colour but if i had the time I would love to practice more with eye shadows and things so it looks like this :)

Thank you! I totally understand because I usually wear basic and neutral colors too! Bright colors are out of my comfort zone so I'm trying to get comfortable with them!

DeleteSo happy that you like it! I'm gonna have to steal that look from you sometime - I never really thought of putting the bright pink like that because I thought it wouldn't look good, but WOW it looks gorgeous. I love that it's so simple, too!
