Hello! Happy Friday!!
Since I am pretty obsessed with highlighters right now I was super curious about the new L'Oreal True Match Lumi Power Illuminator when they came out not too long ago. I have quite a few highlighters already so I've been staying away from the pricey highend ones (still lusting over the becca ones over here!!) I could justify getting one of these more because it's drugstore and won't break my bank account!
I've also heard mixed things about these in the beauty community. I've heard everything from great to too sparkly. I'm going to spoil this review right now and say that they are great. At least in my opinion!
This is in the shade called Rose which is a pretty champagne highlight with a slightly pink tint to it when all mixed together. You can use each section seperatly according to which shade of highlight you like best.
These come in two other shades called Golden and Ice. Each one is made to enhance different skin and undertones. Here's more info on them from L'Oreals website.
'The ultimate in luminosity. L’OrĂ©al Paris introduces its first powder highlighter specifically crafted to highlight key features or illuminate all-over. Designed in Golden, Rose, and Ice shades that flatter every skintone from warm to neutral to cool. Golden Illuminator enhances peachy or yellow tones in warm skintones. Rose Illuminator enhances yellow, peachy, pink or blue tones in neutral skintones. Ice Illuminator enhances pink or blue tones in cool skintones. '
My Overall Thoughts-
-I personally love this highlight, and like it more than some of my highend ones. It's shimmery but when it's on your cheeks it doesn't look over the top.
-I think all three shades are beautiful and would own all three, but that's unnecessary LOL.
-I like how each shade has an accompanying liquid highlight to match, but I'm not a big fan of liquid ones.
-These run about $10-14, which is a little pricey for drugstore but you get just as much product and just as good of quality as a highend highlight.
This is definitely a new favorite of mine and I really recommend these if you are in want/need of a new highlight!
Have you tried out these new Loreal Lumi Powders? If so, leave your thoughts on them in the comments!
Sounds lovely, thanks for sharing! :)
