The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream + Lip Butter Review

Hello!! This might be hard to believe, but I have never used or purchased anything from The Body Shop. It's always a brand that I have heard about, but never thought to use or get for myself. For Christmas I got a little gift set of the Coconut Hand Cream and Lip Butter. I was thrilled since I've never used any of their products before! So today I'm going to share my thoughts on these two items and do a review!

I'm unsure about the price of these together as a gift set, but the hand cream (travel size) is $6, and the lip butter is also $6. On the website they have a deal thats 2 for $10 on travel sizes, but I do not know if it's the same in stores.

  • Leaves lips feeling soft and smooth
My Thoughts
-I actually really like both of these. The scent is nice, and the formula of them is good.
-I agree with the description of the hand cream. It's not greasy at all, and its super moisturizing. The formula is a 'light gel-cream', which is unlike anything I've used before. It's really nice and I think it feels more cream-like than gel. I would definitely repurchase this hand cream.
-The lip butter feels exactly like the name says- butter. At first I couldn't figure out why it felt so different than a regular lip balm and it was bothering the heck out of me. Then I read that it was called 'lip butter' and it clicked. It seriously feels like your putting butter on your lips LOL.
-I don't find the lip butter as moisturizing as some of my other ones, but it still works good if I have nothing else to use. This isn't soem thing I would repurchase.
-I like to keep these two in my purse and they are great for when I need them on the go.
-These are super affordable too! I was actually surprised when I looked up the price and saw how cheap they were.
-I feel like now I'm going to be addicted and want to try a bunch of stuff from the Body Shop!!
