I'm super excited about today's post because I'm doing another collab with Pilar from Beauty and More by Pilar ! We both put together 2 different holiday makeup looks to share. We decided to both do a classic red lip with gold eyes for one look, and for the second one we created our own!
Don't forget to check out Pilar's blog as well to see the looks she created. She's one of my very good friends, and we've been planning Collabs together all through the month. We have one more coming up next week too!
Classic Red And Gold
For my face
Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation, Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, The Blam Bahama Mama Bronzer, Nars Almeria Blush, Becca Highlight in Moonstone.
Lips
Eyes
I used wander and dreamer from the Tartelette palette as my transition and crease shade, and on my lower lash line. I used a cream gold metallic shadow
from Australis Metallix, and Maybelline Color Tattoo Pigment in Barely Brazen over top. For my eyeliner I used Loreal Lineur intense liquid liner and JCats pencil in bronze. For my mascara I used Covergirl Super Sizer.
Plum Smokey Eye
This was the makeup look I wore in my November favorites video using the Chi Chi palette that I mentioned!
For my face
Benefit Porefessinal Primer, Kat Von D Lock it Tattoo Foundation, Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer, UD Afterglow Blush in Fetish, Stila Highlight from the holiday collection.
Eyes
I used 1 all over as a transition shade. I used 2 and 4 in the crease and lower lash line. I used 3 on my lid, and 5 over top in the very center. Last I used 6 in the inner corners.
For my liners I used Loreal Lineur Intesne and Stila smudge proof black liner. For my mascara I used Covergirl Super Sizer.
Lips
For my lips I just used a nude gloss from Covergirl called melted toffee caramel. This doesn't have much color but looks like a nice glossy light pink. I wasn't sure what lip color to wear with this smokey eye because it's very cool toned and all of my lipsticks are mostly warm toned and didn't look right.
I hope you all enjoyed this collab me and Pilar put together! Don't forget to check out her blog for her holiday looks as well!
What is your go to holiday makeup look?
Absolutely gorgeous looks Ashley! I love how you went for a deep red lip for the first look! I would've never thought to do a plum smokey eye for the holidays! It looks so gorgeous on you! Last year I put a twist on my holiday looks and I did deep green eyes and violet lips. These collabs are so much fun and I can't wait for next week's collab!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Pilar!! I honestly didn't know what to do for the second look and it turned out more smokey that I wanted but oh well!! And I think I remember that look you're talking about! And I can't wait for next weeks collab either!

DeleteLove both of these looks! Gold eyes with red lips is my favorite look for the holidays. Sometimes, if I'm singing in a holiday concert, I'll do a shimmery pewter color instead of gold. Great collab as always!
ReplyDeleteThanks you Lauren!! Gold and red is my favorite too! And I bet the pewter shimmer is gorgeous!
DeleteBoth looks are beautiful but I love the classic gold and red! Great job girl!
ReplyDeleteThanks you Tanya!! I love the classic gold and red as well!!
DeleteYou and Pilar both did a brilliant job, Ashley and you really look great with Divine Wine, that shade looks like it's made for you!
