New Years Eye Look: Silver and Purple

Hello!! I was planning on doing some Holiday makeup looks this week, but since Christmas is in two days I thought I would do a New Years Eve party look instead! I used a lot of purple and silver for this look, which are two colors that I don't normally wear but I thought it came out pretty! I wanted this to be a little bit more dramatic than an everyday look since it's for New Years!

For this look, I used mostly shadows from my Disney Ariel Storybook Palette. I was excited because for some reason I hardly every use this palette. 

How I got this look

I first primed my eyes with the Nars Eye Primer, and then use this Maybelline Color Tattoo in Silver Strikes for my eye shadow base.

I used the color called Sea Witch from the Ariel Palette in my crease and outer corner. I used Your Voice from the Ariel Palette all over my lid. These pictures kind of suck (sorry!), but this color is a super glittery silver. I used Sick of Swimming from the Ariel palette right in the center of my lid. Then I used this color called Grifter from the Urban Decay Ammo Palette (the only one I didn't use from the Ariel Palette) in my crease to blend out the dark purple shade. 

For my eyeliner I used L'Oreal Lineur Intense liquid eyeliner and Mac Smolder on my waterline. I used this Silta Eyeliner in silver dollar on my lower lash line, and Lash Gallery by Em Cosmetics for my Mascara.
