Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara Review

Hi everyone!! I recently got the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette and did a review and eye look on it, but I also got a sample size of the Smashbox Full Exposure mascara with it! I'm going to be reviewing this today for you guys!

This is the sample size that came with the palette. A full size at sephora is $19.50.

The brush is freaking huge. Lol.

My lashes with no mascara before I applied it.

One coat of the mascara.

Two coats.
Three coats, and one coat on bottom lashes.

My thoughts-
This has pretty good formulation to it, not being too wet or too dry.
The brush is huge, which I'm not really a fan of. I got macara all over my lids.
This made my lashes pretty long and made my lashes whispy, but didn't give me much volume. I normally prefer mascaras that give me lot of volume and length.

Would I purchas a full size of this? No. I have other mascaras from the drugstore that I like better than this one, and they are much cheaper!

Have you tried this mascara? Let me know your thoughts!

  1. Makes your lashes look so pretty! But you already have nice lashes. This would probably be way too big of a brush for my dinky lashes!

    1. Thanks Pilar!! This mascara and the eyeshadow palette is came in are the only two things I've tried from this brand, but it seems good!

  3. I haven't tried this one before. I am currently using Lancome's mascara primer under a less than volumizing mascara and it is making a word of difference. I will now use that primer to amp up mascara's that I would otherwise not use.

  4. You have such long whispy lashes! This reminds me of benefit bad gal, I'm not the biggest fan of that either. I love a more volumizing mascara too.

    1. Thank you!! The big brush might be hard to use on shorter lashes! Maybe after you've got some length with another mascara before applying this one?

  9. I love the effect on your lashes! :) But I feel the same way as you, a mascara is so much better if it gives both volume and length. Thanks for the helpful review! :) Would you like us to follow each other in GFC and BlogLovin'? I would love to stay in touch and be friends! :)

Take care always, love Christine ~ xo
