Fitness with Ashley | Grocery Haul

Hello!! Today's post is a little different than normal! I'm sharing a grocery haul, and I was inspired to do this by Renny from Sincerely Renny because she recently did one on her blog! I always liked to watch grocery hauls on YouTube for some reason too. I like to get new ideas of what to buy because I get so tired of the same things all the time.

So I hope you guys enjoy this post! And hopefully I will do more fitness with Ashley posts soon. I'm really trying hard to clean up my diet and get back into fitness. I'm such a yoyo ha ha ha.

I like to buy organic food when I can h but haul does not have any unfortunatly because it was a quick trip for things I needed at some local stores who don't carry much of it.
The top one is these 100 calorie flat breads by flatout. They are the everything flavor (like an everything bagel). My husband saw these at target and wanted to try them. I tried one this morning and I toasted it and it was delicious.
Next is a pack of whole grain english muffins.

Next is two packs of sliced white mushrooms, two avocados, a zucchini and a yellow squash. We eat a ton of mushrooms so I always keep lots handy. I plan to make tacos this week, so I got some avocados. And I am making stir fry tonight and I love zucchini and squash in it.

I also like to keep a ton of fruit in my fridge too. I got cherries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and bananas. We also eat bananas like crazy. I like to add fruit to my water, and I'm also making a quinoa salad with fruit in it for my lunch this week.

And lastly I got some unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I use this for smoothies and overnight oats. The yogurt I got is from the brand Noesa. This is my favorite brand of yogurt. It's so freaking good I can't stand it. And some sliced turkey meat.

I also wanted to share this homeamde trail mix I made this morning. It has sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, peanuts, dark chocolate chips, toasted coconut flakes, Cheerios, and dried cranberries. Super easy to make and so yummy!

I hope you all enjoyed my grocery haul! This was just a quick trip for stuff I ran out of. If you want to see more posts like this, let me know in the comments!

  1. This is a brilliant post, what a refreshing change too! I don't think I'll ever post my groceries haul, anyone who watch it might fall down dead of a heart attack just by reading it. LOL!

  4. What a fun post Ashley! I've only seen a few grocery store hauls on you tube, but I find them interesting! You purchased some really healthy groceries! Btw, I just saw on your IG you're doing yoga for your headaches. Is it working? I still haven't gone to the doctor yet, because my allergies were calming down a little bit. This morning I went outside and now I have a terrible headache because of all the pollen lol

    1. Thank you Pilar!!
And I that was my first time doing a yoga for headaches. It helped relax me and I do think it helped a little bit, but I still had a headache afterwards. I think it's one of those things where you have to keep doing it because it won't fix it over night. Give it a try!
Also I went to my doctor yesterday and I have to take Zyrtec every night and Im on s perscrition for my headaches now. Not fun but I'm hoping with the yoga it will help. My peppermint oil has been helping too!

    2. I'm going to give yoga a try! Thanks for the tip! I take Zyrtec at night too, but it seems when my allergies are in overdrive some of my allergy meds stop working! It's weird!

    3. Look up yoga with adreine on YouTube she's where I found the one for headaches!
And my doctor just told me I could take Zyrtec and benedrly together. Maybe try that if they are super bad?
And also I took the Zyrtec at night but still felt super drowsy this morning! Like I couldn't get out of bed. Does that happen to you??

    4. Ok I'm going to look it up her video. Yes see I typically take Zyrtec and Benadryl together anyway, but lately it's not working. I guess it's because the pollen index is so high and it was kind of hot outside this morning. I think it was almost 80° and it wasn't even 10:00 am! That happens to me too when I take Zyrtec at night. Try taking Zyrtec earlier in the evening or maybe an hour or so before you go bed (especially if you go to bed late) When I take my allergy meds around 9 pm, I find it easier to get up in the morning. Hope that helps!

    5. Wow you guys got some hot weather early!! I think the humidity doesn't help our sinuses either :(
And I will try to take the Zyrtec earlier! I stay up pretty late so i took it right before I went to sleep because I was afraid it was going to make me sleep too early lol!!!

  5. Loved this Ashley, because it definitely gives me ideas. I love flatbread. I love wraps! You can fill them with whatever you want and have a great meal. Fresh fruit is always a plus for snacking. I buy mushrooms and make omelets in the mornings sometimes. Really great grocery haul and thank you for subscribing to my YouTube channel.
