Today I'm sharing what I purchased during the Sephora VIB sale, and some goodies I picked up from Lush while I was at the mall!
First thing I picked up was the Stila Holiday gift set. This was a totally impulse buy, and I don't usually gravitate towards Stila products. But I think this set is nice since it comes with a lot. It has a shadow palette with 5 shades, a blush bronzer and highlight trio which you all know I'm a sucker for, a lip gloss, and an eye liner.
I picked up the Becca highlighter in Moonstone, which I already did a review on.
The last thing I picked up was this Nars shadow duo in Kalahari.
I picked up two bath bombs, both I haven't tried before. Yog Nog is on the Left, and Yoga bomb on the right. I had to get the yoga one because well, it's call yoga bomb.
I really wanted to film a video for this, but I'm having issues with my memory card. Every time I try to delete the files from my Mac, it tells me that it's unable to delete them. I also went to get a new memory card from target yesterday, but my dumbass got distracted by all the targetness that target has, and forgot.
Anyways- I just decided to do a blog post because otherwise I'd have to wait till next week to film. I still will film a haul of any of you want to see the products in action, so let me know.
Long intro/rant aside, let's get into the haul!
Sephora
With my points I chose a delux size of the Philosophy Miracle worker night cream. I didn't get much from Sephora because I was trying not to go crazy like I did last year. I didn't need much, but I knew I wanted a Nars duo and the Becca highlight.
Lush
Next I wanted to get another of the Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask. The last thing is the Celestial Face Moisturizer. I tried a sample of this a long time ago and I've been wanting the full size for a while. My skin has been super unhappy lately so I decided to splurge and get this!
I will definitely be doing a review for the Stila set, the Nars duo, the Lush Moisturizer, and I'll probably share both bath bombs either on here or my Instagram! I also have a makeup tutorial using the Stila set that I need to edit!

DeleteDamn it, Ashley, you got the Nars eyeshadow duo too? I'm trying really hard to refrain from buying one but almost every blogger I follow has bought one. LOL! I hope you do a FOTD with the duo, would love to see the look you one up with. And you made me LOL with 'targetness that target has'! Haaa, priceless! Great haul, Ashley and I hope you manage to sort out your skin, the colder weather can be such a bitch. :-(

LOL! I'm glad to make you laugh! And ugh my skin is horrible right now. I love that moisturizer but I don't know if my skin loves it yet. And I will definitely do a look with the Nars duo! It's awesome but if it makes you feel any better, it's not as great as some shadows I've tried!
DeleteGreat haul Ashley! Is that face mask the blueberry one? I have never tried any of their moisturizers. That Nars quad looks so pretty. I'm having issues with my memory card too! I filmed a bunch of videos last Friday and my video card ran out of memory the last minute or so of my video...so my Nov favorites is going to end abruptly lol
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanya! And yes that mask is the blue berry one! The moisturizer is really nice, I just hope my skin thinks so! And oh no! That happened to me too but I only had the intro filmed so it wasn't a huge deal. I'm just not very good with computer stuff so I wasn't sure what to do lol!

DeleteHaha, I'm so glad we both didn't spend as much as we did last year on the sale! Lollll I have to make myself a list every time I have to go to Target for something, or else I'll forget 'cause Target is Target and I will spend at least an hour walking around even though it only takes 5 minutes tops to get what I actually need. Dammit Target.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see that Stila set! The violet/plum shade looks gorgeous. I've been wanting to make a trip to Lush, but I'm trying to be good about my spending habits! One of my blogging friends challenged her readers to be conscious about our spending for two weeks (and hopefully it'll stick around with us after that) so I'm trying to not blindly drop my money on treat purchases so treats can be more special. But dang, I really want to buy like, all the holiday stuff from Lush hahah. Can't wait to see your makeup with that Stila set and those bath bombs!

LOL I'm so glad you understand my target struggles!! I usually make a list, an I actually did when I went in there but I don't know what happened lol!! Because I forgot two of the other things I needed and forgot until I was already waiting in line and then didn't feel like going back for them lol!!

I almost got one of the two faced holiday sets instead and now I'm like why didn't I get them both ha! But I really need to not blindly drop money on things I don't need either! And I love all the holiday stuff from lush!
Lol, Target does that! I was just there. It's one of my favorite stores. That Stila set is gorgeous! They have nice shadows from what I recall. I don't gravitate too much towards them as well. Let me know how the Lush products go! :)
