Happy Halloween!
How I made this
Since I don't have any fun makeup posts or looks for Halloween, I'm sharing a recipe for Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate. I made this the other night and it was super yummy and was a perfect cure for my pumpkin spice latte cravings when it was too late to drink coffee. I have made this with coffee too, instead of the hot chocolate, so I'll share how to do that as well!
You'll need-
Milk of your choice, I choose almond milk. You'll also need canned pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, hot chocolate mix, vanilla extract, and a bit of honey. You can also include cinnamon if you want.
How I made this
Some of the measurements aren't precise. It's more of a preference as to how big your mug is and how much ingredients you want.
-I added the amount of milk I wanted into the mug I was using, and transferred it into a sauce pan.
-I added a few spoonfuls of canned pumpkin into the sauce pan and use medium heat until the pumpkin was melted into the milk and the mixture was boiling.
-Add in your hot chocolate mix, 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and a little honey.
-Once everything is mixed together, transfer into your mug and enjoy!
*If you'd rather have coffee than hot chocolate, brew your coffee and add in your desired amount of coffee into your mug (depending on how strong you like it), or if using an espresso machine, use two shots.*
This is a perfect warm drink for a chilly Fall night! I hope you all enjoy your Halloween!
