Friday Favorites | End of September

Can you believe today is the last day in September?! My favorite month of the year is over, which kind of makes me sad because it flew by. I love October too, so I'm excited for this upcoming month!

For today's Friday Favorites, I'm linking up with  Amanda from Meet @ the Barre

It's been a while since I've done a Friday favorites post, so I thought I'd share some things I've been enjoying this past month. Most of them are Fall-ish things, like a lot of my posts have been lately.

Favorite thing for Fall || My favorite thing during Fall is to have pumpkins on my porch! It makes me so happy for some reason. My mom brought us two of them, and last year I actually grew my own in my garden (on accident) so that made me happy. No pumpkins growing this year, but I'm happy to have two of them.

Favorite Recipe || I made some pumpkin banana muffins with walnuts and they turned out so good! I used this recipe.  I know there's been a ton of articles recently that canned pumpkin isn't rally pumpkin, and that other squashes are aloud to be called pumpkins etc. But the canned pumpkin I have has only one ingredient in it- pumpkin. So regardless if it's pumpkin or squash, I'm just happy there's not a ton of extra ingredients added into it.

Favorite Purchase || I bought some new Fall candles from at brand that I found at Walmart called 719 Walnut Avenue and these seriously are amazing. I bought some last year too and I was blown away that they were just as good as B&BW candles, they have the same packaging and they have three wicks in them as well. But they are under $5! The scents I picked out are Caramel Cinnamon Roll and Country Market. Both smell so so good.

Favorite Moment || We were able to go to the Renissance Festival last weekend. We had lots of fun and the weather was perfect. I got to see my cute little niece there, who wore her Elsa costume. Me and Hubby dressed up like always too. I was a little hard to take photos everywhere because it was super crowded. We met our best friends there too, and it was their little one's first time there.

Favorite Quote || I'm going to finish this post up with my favorite quote. I really liked this one and thought it had a great perspective!

Friday Favorites | Hello September

Happy September everyone! I was so excited yesterday because my favorite month of the year is here, and that also means Fall is on the way. I can't wait for all things  My mind is still in summer mode, which is normal for me until Labor Day is over or until the middle of September, but I can't freaking wait. I want cooler weather, I want boots and sweaters, I want the leaves to change colors and fall, I want to go to apple orchards. And PSLs, I'm coming for you.

All things Fall talk aside, let's get into my Friday Favorites. I'm linking up with Amanda from Meet @ the Barre  and Lauren from Style Elixir  this week!

really have been up to much, other than playing the new World of Warcfrat expansion all week. It came out Monday night (technically it was Tuesday at 3 am) and I stayed up till 10am playing (LOL, I'm crazy?). That's honesty all I've been doing, but I will spare you all the nerd talk, and tell you about my lifestyle favorites that I've managed to find time for.

Favorite Fitness || Last week I started doing yoga again and ahhh did it feel good. Me and hubby have made a pack to start eating better again (I know I've said this a thousand times, but for real) and I've wanted to start doing yoga every morning to start my day off with. Since its been a while, I decided to do Yoga with Adriene's 30 days of yoga to get back into it. I've done some of these videos already but I've never completed the whole thing.

Favorite Fashion Inspo || I was on Pinterest and was looking at cute outfits that were a little Fall-ish and I fell in life with a few of them. My style is pretty basic and I loved the way these were super simple but still stylish!

Favorite Essentail Oil || I've been loving Frankincense. It smells amazing and so good for so many things. It's great to diffuse, and it's also works amazing for skin care. I've mixed it in with my coconut oil at night time a few times and it was super nice. It's also a great oils to use for stress and anxiety since its mood lifting and suppose to balance emotions. I like to rub it on my wrists and forehead while I'm doing yoga.

Favorite Food || I made this awesome taco chili the other day and it was sooo soo good and so easy to make. All I did was take a pot and add a can of black beans, pinto beans, refried beans, a can of tomato sauce, a little bit of veggie broth, and chopped up green pepper, and two cans of green chilies. After it was done I added some green onions and served it over some white rice. It was so easy to make and can totally be changed to anyone's preference. You can add taco meat or chicken, leave of some of the beans if you don't that many, add cheese, a can of tomatoes, etc. The refried beans do make it super creamy though, and depending on how thick you like your chili then play around with the amount of veggie broth you put it. This could totally be made in a crock pot too!

Favorite Quote || I shared this one on my Instagram a few weeks ago but I really love it!

I hope everyone has a great Labor Day

Friday Favorites | Lifestyle

Happy Weekend everyone!

This week has been a super lazy one for me. I've been trying to catch up on coming home from vacation. Does anyone else feel just so blah and lazy after traveling, especially if there's a time change involved? Ugh! Hopefully next week I'll have some more motivation!

Favorite Purchase || I finally got my hands on The Cursed Child. I actually wanted to go to the midnight release party for it, but we left for California so I couldn't. So excited to read this but I'm slightly disappointed that I already haven't finished it yet LOL. I need to get back on my reading game!

Favorite Recipe || After eating like utter crap all during our vacation, I had to go grocery shopping when we got home and stock up on some healthy things. I made these fajita tacos and they were so so good. I sautéed up some red and orange bell peppers, and added them with some refried beans into corn tortillas. I made some homemade guacamole to add in too, and some lettuce. I forgot to add salsa, but they were still delicious!

Favorite YouTuber || I discovered Dani Laurenon YouTube and couldn't stop watching her food videos! She posts tons of healthy and vegan recipes, which is where I got the recipe for the tacos above! Definitely check out her channel if you need some new recipe ideas (and if you don't want to eat vegan, just take her recipes and add in your meat choice!)

Favorite Creation || I made some new channel art for my YouTube channel. I've been meaning to do this for a while, but have been to lazy. I used the channel art templet you can download right from YouTube and then used pic monkey to create it. I was happy with the way it turned out, super simple and pretty. I'm also going to give my blog a makeup soon too, another thing that I've put off way too long!

Favorite Moment || Have you guys heard of Sand Cloud before? I've been following them for a year or two on Instagram and have always been obsessed with their products! I saw they were looking for new ambassadors, so I decided to apply and I was accepted! I was super excited about this, because I've never been a brand ambassador for anything before! I can't wait to order some stuff and I will definitely do a video or blog post when I do! You can also save 25% off with my code AshleySB25 if you want to order anything! They also donate a percentage of their sales to help support marine life by preserving the worlds oceans and beaches. You all know I'm for organizations like that!

Tell me some of your lifestyle favorites for this week!

Friday Favorites | Hello July

Happy weekend everyone! I skipped last weeks Friday Favorites post to do my June lifestyle post. It was a nice change, but I'm excited to share some weekly lifestyle favorite today.

Favorite YouTube Video || I really enjoyed SarahBethYoga's video that she filmed on 5 Tips For Mindful Mornings. I am not a morning person. At all. And ever since I've been staying home, my night owl habits have gotten worse. I've been staying up ridiculously late, and sleeping in too much. It also doesn't help that hubby is on second shift (5pm to 330am), so I'm usually still up when he comes home around 4am and we've both been sleeping in. Back to the point- I really need to not sleep in so much and get up in the morning and utilize the day. This video had some great tips, and I can't wait to try them out.

Favorite Essential Oils || I know I've been sharing a lot of oil favorites lately, but I can't help it- I'm obsessed! One of my good friends got me a Young Living oil kit for my birthday last week. It came with a diffuser too so I've been playing around with a ton of oils. My three favorites have been Purification, Stress Away, and Lemon. Purification and Stress Away have been my favorite ones to diffuse, and I like to add a few drops of lemon to each of them! Do you guys want me to do a post on my favorite oils and how I use them? Let me know!

Favorite Purchase || I shared this Lorac Light Source Illuminating Highlighter in Moonlight in a recent haul post. I am obsessed. It's so pretty, and I want all of the Lorac highlighters! This one is a bit softer than the ABH Glow Kit I've been raving about, and I'll have a review up in a few weeks!

Favorite from Starbucks || Has anyone tried the new Granitas at Starbucks? They only sell them after 3pm (boo!!), and I loveee the Youthberry White Tea one! Youthberry is my all time favorite tea from Teavanna and this is is made with lemonade flavored shaved ice. It's so so good, and even if you aren't a tea drinker, give it a try because it doesn't really taste like tea. The Carmel espresso one is great too!

Favorite Quote || I feel like I'm finding a quote for everything these days, but I love sharing them with you guys in these favorites posts.

Friday Favorites | Lifestyle

Happy weekend everyone, and happy last Friday in June. Where the heck has this month gone? I'm going to keep this intro short and let's just get into my lifestyle favorites for this week.

Favorite TV shows || Both Pretty Little Liars and The Fosters came back on tv this week! Both of them were starting a new season, and both of them left us seriously hanging in last season's finale episode. I'm sure everyone has heard of PLL but I've never heard of The Fosters until I started watching it on Netflix maybe last Fall? I'm not sure when. Anyways, if you haven't watched it then I definitely recommend checking it out, it's such a good show!

Favorite Purchase || I bought a book that Marissa Lace was talking about in one of her YouTube videos called The Soul Searchers Handbook. I got it in the mail on Tuesday and have just started reading it. This book has everything from yoga and meditation to healing crystals, aromatherapy, dreamology, astrology, holistic living, etc. If you are into these sort of things, definitely check it out.

Favorite Inspiration || Speaking of mediation, I've been on Pinterest looking up how to create a mediation space. Some of you may know that I'm into yoga, but I've never tried meditation other than a quick Savasana to relax  after yoga. I've been curious about trying meditation, or maybe I just want a cute little space in my house that looks relaxing? ;)

Favorite Essential Oils || I've recently purchased Lavender and the R.C oil blend from Young Living. These are doing wonders for my allergies and sinus issues. And I love using the legend we in my diffuser! It not only smells amazing, but it's very calming and relaxing.

Favorite Quote || I like to share my favorite quotes with you guys. I was looking on Pinterest for quote about the moon, because let's face it. I'm a little obessed with the moon, and all things sun/moon related.

Friday Favorites

Hello! This week went by so fast, and I can't believe there's only two more weeks of June. Seriously where has the time gone? I cannot wait to do my monthly June lifestyle post this month, I have so much to share!
I've been super excited because I finally have a good blog posting schedule down. I've been posting Monday-Friday, with 1-2 videos a week. I'm going to shoot for two videos every week, this week I only had one video so I need to get my butt in front of the camera and film, film, film. Give me some video requests! What do you guys want to see?

This week I'm going to share Lifestyle Favorites, but first I wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments last week in my 3rd Blogiversary post on Friday where I shared my favorite things about blogging!l

Favorite Purchase || I've been eyeing shirts from Ivory Ella for months now. They recently came out with tanks and I knew I needed one. They are super cute for summer, I'm obsessed with elephants, and a profit of their sales goes to Save the Elephants and other causes.
This is the one I picked out. I liked the detailing on the back the best out of the ones they had. I got it in the mail yesterday and I'm super impressed. It fits really well!

Favorite Creation || I've had this plain canvas tote for so long and I've been wanting to decorate it. I got some fabric paint and painted a sun and moon design on it that I found on Pinterest. I was really pleased on how it came out. It's not 100% perfect, but hey- it was my first time doing something like this! This may or may not be a sneak peak of something else that I'll be talking about in a later post ;)

Favorite Moment || If you don't know how big of a nerd I am by now, then I don't know where you've been! The new Warcraft movie released last Friday, but the theater near my house had some early Thursday showings that we were able to go to. Me and hubby have been waiting for this for so long! And it was super good in my opinion, and then I had to renew my World of Warcraft game subscription, and was slightly tempted to make an Orc character.
And there's me being nerdy in my For the Horde shirt. I have a ridiculous amount ld game, anime, and fandom tshirts. If you ever come to my house, chances are its all you'll see me wear.

Favorite YouTuber || Do you guys watch Marissa Lace on YouTube? If not, you totally should! She's super inspiring and I just love her. She talks so much about how important self love and happiness is. She did a 30 day vegan challenge that was super fun to watch, shes into yoga and meditation, and I've been super inspired by her!

Favorite Quote || I've said this before but I love finding quotes that really make me feel something, touch my heart, and speak to me because sometimes they are exactly how I feel but don't know how to express into words. I found this one on Pinterest, and I fell in love.
What are some of your favorites this week? Let me know in the comments! I hope you all have an amazing weekend!
