FOTD: Classic Red Lip + Neutral Eyes

*Hello!*
I've always admired anyone who can pull off a red lip really well. I never thought I could (and am still not sure I can LOL) but after I colored my hair back to brunette, I'm finding myself wearing more colors and being more daring than when I was a blonde. Werid, I know.

Anyways I was trying out a red lip and paired it with a neutral eye looks so I thought I would share it here on my blog!

FOTD- Red Lips and Neutral Eyes

For the Face

Primer- Benefit Porefessional
Foundation- Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation
Concealer- Mac Pro Longwear
Powder- Rimmel Stat Matte

Bronzer- Benefit Hoola
Blush- Tarte Amazonian Clay in Exposded
Highlighter- Mac Soft and Gentle

For the Lips

I got both of these lips prodcuts in Ipsy bags. I always get a lot of red lip products from them and I usually just throw them in a box and never use them. I pulled these two out to try them with some incouragment from a friend. The lip crayon is from J Cats and the gloss is from Bombshell.

For the Eyes

This is my everyday eye look using the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. About 90% of the time, this is the eye look that I wear. It's fast, easy, and takes no time to do.

Primer- Mac Painterly Paint Pot
Lid Color- w.o.s
Crease Color- faint and blended out with naked 2
Lower Lash Line- faint
Brow Bone- Venus
Eyeliner- L'Oreal lineur intense liquid liner and L'Oreal extra intense liquid eye pencil in water line
Mascara- Maybelline Falsies

This is all for my FOTD post! The red lip was definitely out of my comfort zone, but the more I wore it, the more I was stating to like it! I think it looks really bright against my pale skin, which is kind of scary haha!!

Can you rock red lips? Let me know in the comments!

Simple Sunday Eye look

Hello!! Today I wanted to share a simple and neutral eye look that I did. I felt lazy today with my makeup because it's Sunday but I thought I would share what I did because it different from my usual neutral eye look.

How I got this Eyelook

I used this L'Oreal infallible eyeshadows in Iced Latte all over my lid. I used Satin Taupe by Mac in my crease and blended it out with Naked2 from the UD Naked Basics palette. I also used Satin Taupe on my lower lash line.

For eyeliner I used my usual L'Oreal liners  (lineur intense liquid liner and extra intense liquid eye pencil) and the L'Oreal Telescopic for my mascara.

Here's a close up.

Thank you all for reading and I hope you enjoyed this short post!!

Neutral Eye Look using Smashbox Full Exposure Palette

Hey everyone!! A few posts ago I did a review on the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette, and as promised I'm going to share a look I created with it.

This palette very neutral, with mostly brown, taupe, and beige colors. There is a matte black which is awesome, and a sparkly gray color. There's a row or mattes, and a row of shimmer colors.

Neutral eyes are definetly my go to every day looks so this palette is perfect for me, even though I already own way too many other neutrals.

Here's the gorgeous palette. Same pictures I used in my review for this.

How I got this look:

I primed my eyes with my Mac paint pot in painterly before I applied the shadows.

I uses the first top shade all over my lid. I used the bottom two shades in my crease and blended them out. I used the second shade on the top in my outer corner. I used the second shade on the bottom for my lower lash line.
These colors are super easy and simple to use. I love using brown and taupe colors the best for a neutral eye look!

For my eyeliner I used a gel liner by L'Oreal and my mascara is Lash Gallery by arm Cosmetics!

I hope you all enjoyed this eye look and thanks for reading!
