Makeup Product of the Week #2: Downboy Blush by the Balm.

Hey guys! Today I'm going to do my 2nd 'Makeup Product of the Week' post, which is where I feature a new product every week that I need to show more love to. I started this last week because I just have so many makeup items that I don't use often enough so this is a way to get me to use them more.

I'm also going to update you guys at the end of this post on my product from last week.

This weeks product is the Downboy blush by the Balm.

This blush is a really pretty berry/pink color.

It seems like everytime the Balm comes to Hautelook, I have to buy something. This blush was one of my first purchases from them. It's very pigmented and blends into the skin really nice. The packaging is cute, and it has good staying power. I love this blush and I don't know why I've neglected it so much!

So this is the product that I'm going to try to use a lot this week. Since it's pink, it's also perfect for valentines day!

Update on my prodcut from last week: Urban Decay Naked Palette.

I used this palette 4 times last week. I was pretty proud of myself. I used it to create mostly natural and easy looks that I could do really quick before work. I mentioned that this is my all time favorite palette but I just don't use it enough.

A lot of the products that I feature in these posts will probably be palettes. I have so many that I love but I just haven't had the time to use them because I do the same makeup everyday.

Have you rediscovered any old favorites from your collection lately? Let me know!

  3. Ooooh! This made me remember I have a Hot Mama! blush but it's lost somewhere in my boyfriend's apartment, lol. Looks like a pretty blush, I don't have a berry/pink one yet! Most of mine are rosy or pinky-brown.

Good job on using your Naked more! I'm trying to do the same by putting neglected products out on an empty Birchbox top.
