Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation Review

Hi :)
Everytime Covergirl comes out with a new foundation, I instantly want to try it out. Ever since I tried their Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 foundation a year or so ago, Covergirl has definitely become my favorite brand of drugstore foundation. I have been so impressed with the great quality of all the ones I have tried, and the new Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation is no exception! I have been using this foundation for the past month so now I want to share my thoughts on it!

I believe this is about $7-8 depending on where it's purchased from.
The packaging is simple and comes in a squeeze tube. I really love the squeeze tube packaging in foundations if they don't offer a pump.

What this foundation claims to do-
One simple step for a flawless natural look that lasts all day. The formula blends easily to even out the skin tone and reduces shine all day. Oil free, won't clog pores, suitable for sensitive skin, and lasts all day.

My skin is slightly oily in my t zone, and the rest is normal. I have heard this works well with both dry and oily skin types.
I chose the lightest or second lightest shade in this and I'm super happy with the way it looks. However, the shade selection isn't the best. There was only like 5-6 shades where I purchased mine. There might be more shades available depending on where you can find it.
I do wear my foundation a tiny bit darker than my skin tone though, so if you are any paler than I am, then this might not work for you.

My overall thoughts-
-This has been my go to foundation lately and I have been neglecting my other ones to wear this. I'm so in love with this foundation!
-The formula isn't super thick, but it's not runny either which I think is perfect.
-I would say this is a medium coverage, and it blends great and looks super natural.
-This has not oxidized on me at all, which I find very rare in a foundation!
-I do believe believe in all the claims that it has. I think it has great staying power, and it hasn't irritated my skin at all!
-I have used both foundation brushes and a beauty blender to apply this, and both methods work great.
-I really recommened this foundation and I know it's definitely going to be a long time favorite of mine!

Have you tried this new foundation, or any of the other products in the Ready Set Gorgeous line??

  1. It's always good to fall in love with a new foundation :-) I don't think we have this one here though, or at least not yet. But I've tried other CG foundations in the past and I definitely liked them.

  3. I haven't tried this one yet but I am glad to hear it doesn't oxidize because that happens a lot to me with Covergirl foundations.

  4. It sounds amazing Ashley! So glad you love it. The only problem I've had is finding a shade to match my hue. Foundation can be so tricky. So when you find a good one, you are a happy girl.

    1. Thanks Kim! And I agree, I have a hard time too because my skin is super pale, and it's hard to match! They are usually too yellow or too pink for me
