FOTD | Featuring the Naked 2 Palette

Hello!! I'm going to share a quick FOTD post! I feel like I'm on a roll with all these makeup looks lately- that's probably because I was slacking on them for so long!

For my face

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation, Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Nars Laguna Bronzer, Hourglass Ambiant Lightening Palette, Benefit Rockateur Blush. I forgot (again) to include my lipstick in the picture. I'm wearing Maybelline Soft Matte Lipstick in Touch of Spice.

For the eyes

Naked 2 Palette for my eyeshadow, and Mac Paintpot in Painterly for my eye base.  Tease as my transition color, Snakebite in the crease and lower lash line, YDK all over the lid. L'Oreal lineur intense liquid liner, Urban Decay Rehab in my water line, and Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara.

I hope you all enjoyed this makeup look and thanks for reading!

  2. Idk if you dyed your hair darker or if it's just the lighting, but the dark hair looks so stunning with your pale skin!! Awesome makeup look also(; how do you like that foundation? I want to try either that, Mac Pro Long Wear, or the Kat Von D one? Also, I'm so jealous with how perfect your lids match and your liner! So beautiful Ashley! Do you do other peoples makeup?

    1. Thank you hillary!!! This is actually my natural hair color that you see! I have an ombre ish thing going on from when my hair faded after dying it, so the ends are like a light brownish. You just can see it really good because it's pulled back lol!!

As for the foundation, I do like it but it's definitely not my favorite and I wouldn't repurchase it. I like the Kat Von D one way better and it has a lot better coverage than this one! I have not tried the Mac one but I have heard that it makes a lot of people's face break out :(

  3. I wish I have your amazing lashes, serious envy going on here. LOL! Love the eye makeup but somehow I have never been able to pull off smokey eyes. It just looks weird on me and I am one of those unfortunate ones whose face cannot have too much makeup or I'll have a drag queen face. :-/

    1. Haha thank you shireen!! I think you could pull off a smokey look and I dont think you would look like a drag queen at all!! I Started out with doing super light lid colors with a darker shade in the crease, and then I was able to do all dark after time and not feel like I had too much on!

  6. I'm a little sad that I gave my Naked2 away to my sister - you reminded me how much I loved Tease and Snakebite. I really like how you did your blush/bronzer, it looks great!

    1. Thanks Becky! I feel like this is the first time I've actually taken a picture when my blush and bronzer has shown up on camera lol!!! This was seriously the first time I've used my naked 2 palette in probably over a year! It's so neglected lol so don't feel sad haha!

  8. I just got all three palettes, but haven't used them yet. Your eyemakeup looks so good. Very pretty. I'm also loving that Tarte foundation on you. An employee at Ulta wore it and her face looked impeccable. I wonder if it would work with my dry skin? LOL Beautiful application Ashley.

    1. Thank you so much Kim! You will love the palettes once you try them!! I really do think this would be okay on dry skin. It's a thick foundation but it's super creamy! My mom used it and has dry skin and didn't complain about it!
