End of Summer & Fall Candle Haul

Hello hello!

Today I have a quick candle haul to share. I called this the end of  Summer and Fall candle haul because I got scents for both seasons. The more summer ones are really good for all year, or good ones to transition into Fall with. I'm really excited and can't wait for Fall since it's my favorite season, so I really wanted Fall scents the most.  P.s. Since last Fall, I've finished up 25 candles. I made it a point to finish up as many candles as I could because I obviously had an excessive amount.

The top two candles in this stack are from Bath & Body Works and the bottom three are from Walmart from a brand called 719 Walnut Ave. I swear to god these are exactly the same as the BBW ones. They smell amazing and are only $4.99. Go smell them, buy them, and thank me later.

Top Row (bbw)-
The first candle is called Incense and this is one that my hubby actually picked out. It's Pachouli and Balck Pepper and this smells amazing. It has that incense scent but it's not as strong as when you burn actual inscense. I burn incense almost everyday, so this candle is nice to have if I don't want an over powering scent.
The second from BBW is Pumpkin Cupcake. I had to get at least one Pumpkin Scent and I do like to have at least one sweet scent in my collection to burn.

Bottom row (walnut ave)-
The first one is called Rustic Lake House and is described as cedar, citrus, and green moss. It has a bit of a cologne/earthy scent but it's very light and clean. These types of candles are nice if I'm tired of smelling a sweet or fruity scent.
Next is Country Market, and this is one I picked up last year too and really loved it. This is is described as juicy berries and watermelon, and I think it's great for both Summer and Fall.
Last is Apple Delight. I think this is another one that could be for Summer or Fall, but I'm waiting until Fall to burn it!

The Fall scents at BBW didn't excite me much this year. I love their Leaves and Autumn scents but I just finished up mine that I had from last year. I almost picked up Mahagonay Apple, but the more I smelled it, the more it smelled like beer/hard apple cider LOL. Their website seems to have more scents that I'm interested in that weren't in my local store.

So this is my little candle haul that I'm ridiculously excited about.  Have you picked up any Fall candles yet? Which scents are your favorite?

Jesse's Girl Eyeshadow Palette Review!

Hello!!! Have any of you tried out any makeup from the Jesse's Girl makeup line?? I'm not sure exactly where this cosmetic line is carried, but I've seen it around at Rite Aids where I live.

This makeup is super affordable and I've always been curious about it, but as always with cheap drugstore brands I was reluctant to try it. So many drugstore things are hit or miss, especially eye shadows!

So what did I think of this Palette?? Let me show you swatches and pictures first, then I'll share my thoughts!

This palette is called 'Brown Eyed Girl' and I purchased it for $3.99. There was two other palettes, a green toned one and a purple/blue toned one. I chose this one because I'm a sucker for neutrals, and I was drawn to the red and organs tones! For $3.99 you get 9 shadows, sounds like a pretty good deal right??The top picture is taken without a flash, and the bottom with a flash.

Here are the swatches, all without a primer. Most of these have a subtle shimmer to them, and there is one or two matte shades.

The look I created with this palette

I used the second shade in on my lid, and the fourth and third shade from the end in my crease.

My thoughts
-For $3.99, this palette is definitely a steal in my opinion. I'm really enjoying using this!
-The shadows have decent pigmentation. It's not the greatest in the world, but they are buildable and blend really well!
-I was really disappointed in a recent Nyx palette I purchased for $15, and I have to say this $4 palette is a lot better quality than the Nyx one!
-These shadows have little fall out, and the colors don't become mixed together so they look blah or muddy. They stay nicely, especially the darker ones!
-A lot of drugstore eyeahdaows that I buy I will only used them once or twice sadly, but that is not the case with this. I've reached for it a handful of times already!
-I would really recommend this if you're looking for an affordable drugstore palette!

Have you tried anything from the Jesse's Girl makeup line?? If so leave your thoughts on it in the comments!

What's in my Everyday Beauty Bag

Hi beautiful  people!
Today I'm going to share what's in my everyday beauty/makeup bag that I keep in my purse. I recently switched up my purses, and the one I'm carrying now doesn't have as many pockets, so I put a makeup bag in there to hold some of the stuff I carry so it's not just floating around the bottom of my purse.

So what's inside?

I got this bag from a free target beauty bag in the mail probably like a year ago. I love cheetah print, but I also like this because it's neutral so it will match any purse that I carry.

It's pretty small inside, but holds a lot of the stuff I need.

I've said this before in my whats in my bag posts, but I don't carry much makeup with me. I always have some setting power and concealer incase I need to touch to. I also threw a little brush I had inside to use with it. I have an extra eyeliner and a small sample sized mascara in there too.

I'm like super OCD about having Chapstick with me at all times. If I don't have it, it's like the end of the world I sware. So I have a Chapstick, a Buxom lipgloss, a Maybelline Baby Lips and a Sugar lip treatment. I also usually throw in what ever lipstick I'm wearing that day too.

The top chunky stick thing is a perfume stick from the Coach poppy flower perfume. The bottom one is a sample of Marc Jacobs Dot that I got from Sephora. I also have a bunch of bobby pins.

I have some cough drops in the bag. I threw some dental floss in there too because I'm like paranoid about food getting stuck in my teeth during the day LOL. I got a little sample size of a Cetaphil moisturizing cream that I keep in there because my hands get super dry. I also have some eye drops and an extra contact case incase I need to take mine out!!

That's all for my beauty bag that I keep in my purse!

What's a must have in your beauty bag?

Romantic Pink Smokey Eye for Valentines Day

Hello! So I kind of like doing festive holiday or seasonal posts. Lol. I decided to create and eye look that would be good or valentines day (or really any other day) by using some pinks and glitter. For this I used the Naked 3 palette, because to me there is something just so pretty and romantic about this palette. So many pinks and pretty colors!!

What I did to get this look
First I primed my eyes with Mac paint pot in bare study.
I used Nooner in my crease and blended it out with Limit. I used Buzz all over my lid with Burnout and Dust in the inner corner, the dust shade gave the look some glitter and sparkles. I used Blackheart in the outer corner and blended it into the crease to give my eyes a smoked out and dramatic look. I used Darkside on my lower lash line.

To finish the look I used L'Oreal lineur intense liquid liner and L'Oreal extra intense liquid eye pencil on my water line. I used Covergirl Bombshell for my mascara.

This look is perfect for a valentines day date night!

What eye colors will you be rocking this valentines day?

Covergirl Lash Perfection Mascara Review

Hello!! I recently purchased the Covergirl Lash Perfection Mascara from Target and wanted to share a review for it here on my blog. This is a mascara that I have heard great things about and have been meaning to pick up for a while. I use to use Covergirl mascaras a long time ago, but I haven't used one since I have discovered other drugstore mascaras that I loved more. I was excited to try this because I haven't used this brand in a long time so I was curious how I was going to like this.

The wand for this is rubbery and plastic and the bristles are made of rubber also. I usually prefer mascara that have the regular bristle hairs on them.

Here are my lashes with no mascara on.

Here is one coat of the Lash Perfection mascara on my top lashes.

Here is two coats of the mascara on the top lashes, and one coat on the bottom.
This mascara makes my lashes look really long and spidery.

My Thoughts on this Product
I actually really like this mascara. It has really good formulation because it's not too wet or too dry. Sometimes when mascaras are too wet they make my lashes stick together really bad and I usually have to wait a week or so for it to dry out so I can use it. This mascara was the perfect consistency when I opened it and first applied it.
I like mascaras that give my lashes volume and length at the same time, and this mascara did both. It applies really nice and easily, but on the second coat my lashes clumped a little bit.
You can purchase this mascara for around $6 at the drugstore. It's really great for an affordable price!

Have you tried this mascara before? If so share your thoughts on it with me!
