Hello!! One of the best things about makeup from the drugstore is that you can find some great items for such a good price! I'm going to be showing you all of my favorite makeup products that are under $5. Seriously, you can't get more affordable than this! I know that some of the more cheaper brands at the drugstore can be hit or miss (elf, wet n wild, etc) but they do make some good products that are now staples in my makeup collection!
This is the elf blush and bronzer duo that is $3. This is really comparable to the Nars duos but for a way cheaper price! I have a blog post comparing the two duos that you can read here. Both the blush and bronzer in the elf duo are really pigmented and apply nice. I do like the Nars one better, but for $3 you can't go wrong. The packaging on elf studio products are really nice too!
This is another great elf product for only $3! The elf golden bronzer is a product that I use almost daily and I've been through a lot of them. This product is really nice because it's very versatile. It can be used as a really pretty highlight shade, or you can use one of the darker shades to build up a nice contour shade. I personally use it all over my face in the summer time for a nice bronze glow to warm up my skin tone.
Wet n Wild eyeshadows are by far my favorite eyeshadows at the drug store. The larger palettes are $4.99 and the smaller trios are $2.94 at walmart. These shadows have such great pigmentation and blend really nice. Wet n Wild has a lot of different trios and palettes with tons of different colors.
Wet n Wild blushes are also a really great product. These you can buy for $2.99. Like the Wet n Wild eyeshadows, these are super pigmented. This one I am showing is in the color called Heather Silk, and I definitely have to apply this with a lighter hand!
NYC bronzer in Sunny is a great drugstore bronzer. This was given to me by a friend, but I found it on cvs's website for $2.23. That is definitely a price you can't go wrong with. This is also really pigmented, so I apply it with a lighter hand so it don't come off orange on my skin.
The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is a newer find of mine. I've always heard such great things about it, and now that I've tried it I will probably always use this one. You can get it for $3.97 at Walmart. You get quite a lot of product in there as well!
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in the color Airy Fairy is one of my favorites from the drug store. This is at Walmart for $4.97. It's a super pretty pink color and it applies really nice and creamy.
Revlon Lash Potion Mascara. This is not my favorite drugstore mascara, but I still like to use this one from time to time. It's $4.99 at Target, which is cheaper than any of the other mascaras I use! It has great formulation and makes my lashes really thick!
Ok excuse the dirty brushes LOL, but elf makes some seriously good makeup brushes. Their studio brushes (black ones) are $3, and their regular brushes (white ones) are $1. These two in the picture are my favorites. The elf kabuki brush I used every day to put on my setting powder. It's so soft! The other one in the picture is the elf studio stippling brush. I use this one to put on foundation. I kind of hid it behind the kabuki brush because it's gross from not cleaning it in a while lol. I actually own two of the stippling brushes because I got tired of having to wash it every few days haha!!
What are your favorite beauty products under $5? And have you tried any of these that I mentioned in this post?
