January Ipsy Bag 2014

Hey everyone! I was super excited to find my Ipsy bag in my mail box today!! Normally they send me an email saying that it's been shipped and whatever but this month they didn't, so I didn't realize that it was coming! What a nice suprise lol!

I'm not sure what the theme for this month was, because I didn't look anything up for it. But I'm guessing it has something to do with winter skin care (maybe?).

The bag is okay. Nothing special.

The first thing was some makeup cleansing tissues by absolute. I usually don't like to try out makeup wipes from brands I haven't heard of before since my skin is sensitive and acne prone, but these will still come in handy because I like to have these on my vanity to wipe off swatches or clean my makeup.

I got a sample of the Porefessional by Benefit. I was super excited about this because I have been into trying primers lately, and I have always wanted to try this one.  I've heard nothing but good things about it.

This is a body balm by BalancedG called Balm Me Up. It's an 'organic sweet cocoa & tangy body balm' that helps to balance dry skin. I was excited about this because my skin is super dry right now, and I haven't had a good hand lotion in a while. This smells amazing and I can't wait to try it. It looks like a pretty thick balm, and it's perfect size for carrying it in your purse.

This is a mojito lip balm that says 'daily protection and soothing treatment'. Just like my hands and skin, my lips are super dry right now too.  I tried this out really quick and it felt kind of like vassaline.

This is the Yaby liquid foundation. I haven't heard of this brand before and the packaging doesn't give any detail about this product. The color looks a little yellow/dark for me but I will try it out!

I'm pretty happy with this months bag. Normally I like to get more makeup rather than skin care stuff, but a lot of this looks nice and I feel like I will like it!

What did you get in your ipsy bag this month?
