Small Ulta Haul

Hello! Sorry for my absence at the beginning of this week. I had a ton of things planned for the blog, but well, life happens.

Today I'm sharing a small Ulta haul. I had a gift card so I wanted to pick up some things, and the few things that I got are all new to me so I can't wait to try them. Expect reviews soon!

Lorac Pro 3 Palette-  Lets get the biggest and most exciting thing out of the way! My husband got this for me as an early birthday present last weekend. This palette is ridiculously gorgeous. I'm thinking about doing a video review so I can show a demo using it. I usually save my reviews for my blog because I feel that I can be more thorough and in depth, but I would really like to show the palette and swatches in action. What do you guys think?

Lorac Light Source Illuminating Highlighter- I've seriously been on a highlighter craze lately. A direct quote from me to my husband last week was 'do you see the shine on my cheek bones? I want my highlight to be seen from outer space'. He kind of looked at me like I was nuts. Anyways, there Lorac highlighters are absolutely freaking stunning. I had a very hard time choosing between the 4 that they have. I wanted them all, and I won't be satisfied in life until I have them all. I was silently cursing them for not having a palette like ABH does. Okay, I'm being a bit dramatic.  Anyways, I chose the shade called Moonlight. Partly for the name, and mostly because it's a pink opal shade so it's different from most of my golden/champagne highlighter shades.

Essence Contour and Highlight Duo- I chose the lighter of the two shades, and I'm super excited to try this. I've never tried anything from Essence before, and this was on my wish list!

Essence Make Me Brow- I chose the darker of the two shades called browny brow. I heard this is a good dupe for Benefit Gimme Brow so I'm super curious if this $2.99 brow gel is good! I do love Gimme Brow, but it's $24 so no thank you. Also, is anyone else not digging the new packaging for benefit's brow products? They seem very flashy to me.

Essence Nude Longlasting Lipstick in Cool Nude- I've always heard great things about Essence lipsticks and this shade was right up my ally, and it was also super affordable at $2.99.

Like I mentioned before, I've never tried any Essence makeup before but have been meaning to so I thought I would pick up a few things that interested me! I'll be doing reviews for everything in this haul, except maybe the lipstick. If I like it, you'll probably see it in a favorites video, unless I end up picking up more shades so I can do a more in depth review of the different shades/formulas etc.

Have you tried any of these products that I mentioned? If so, leave your thoughts on them in the comments!

Drugstore Haul

Hello! I hope you all had a great weekend, and Easter if you celebrated it!

I'm going to share a few things that I picked up from the drugstore recently. It's mostly skin/body care so nothing too exciting, but I thought I'd share anyways because I did get two things that I haven't tried before (new things to review!!).

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser- this is just a repurchase of the cleanser I use everyday.
Shea Moisture raw Shea butter body wash- another repurchase of my favorite body wash. I tried another scent and didn't love it as much as this one!
Shea Moisture strength, grow, and restore Leave in Conditioner- this is a new product for me. Since I love the Shea moisture body wash, I've been wanting to try their hair products. These are organic, cruelty free, and free of a ton of things (sulfate, parabens, etc.). I ran out of my usual leave in conditioner so I thought I'd try this one out. My hair needs all the help it can get since its very damaged so I will definitely be doing a review on this later!
Covergirl Super Sizer Mascara- a repurchase of my holy grail mascara.
Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation- I'm seriously running out of all my foundations! I haven't purchased any new ones in forever. I put myself on a no buy for a little while but I decided to repurchase this one when I ran out last week because I love it and it's the cheapest of all the foundations I use lol!
Burt's Bees natural acne solution clarifying toner- I did a review for this a few weeks ago. It's my favorite toner at the moment, and I already ran out of the first one I purchased!
Batiste Dry Shampoo for dark and deep brown hair- I've been using the floral and flirty blush scent of this and I love it, but I wanted to try out the one for brunette hair because I hate the white cast the other ones leave if you aren't careful!! Will be reviewing this as well!

Edit: I actually ended up going to Target soon after published this post, so I'm editing it to include these two items I picked up! I found a $10 gift card in my purse so I was excited!
Wet n Wild Ombre blush in The Princess Daiquaries- I picked up a different shade of these ombre blushes a while ago but I was unsure about the color, so I've been wanting to pick up another shade so I can see if I like them!
Elf Illumanting Eye Cream- I've been dying to try out a lot of the things in Elf's skin care line. Target had this eye cream and a moisturizer, and then were out of two different things (not sure which ones). They don't have all of their skin care line but I was wanting to try this eye cream out, and since I currently don't have an eye cream I was excited to see this there!

I'll be doing reviews on both of these items too!

I'm still on a no buy (sort of!). Most of these were essential things that I ran out of and needed. I could have held off on the foundation, but hey it's only $7!

Have you picked up anything new from the drugstore lately? Let me know in the comments!

Drugstore Makeup Haul

I'm going crazy over all of the new makeup that's out at the drugstore! I'm super excited because I feel like it's been quite a while since the drugstore came out with some new goodies, and a ton at once!

I tried not to go too crazy at Wallgreens, but I did pick up a few items to share in a haul. There is definitely more I want to pick up later, which I'll talk about at the end of this post.

From Maybelline I picked up the Master Fix Setting Spray. I'm always curious to see how drugstore setting spray compare to highend ones. I love the Loreal one so I wanted to see if this one was any good. I also picked up the Maybelline Master Contour Palette. I've been looking for this for a while, and then I wasn't going to get it because Rimmel came out with one too that o wanted instead. I couldn't find the Rimmel one so I decided why the heck not on the Maybelline one. I'm a sucker for face palettes anyways.

These Covergirl Trunaked palettes are ones that I've been trying to get my hands on for a while. I chose the 'goldens' palette, but all three of them are gorgeous. It says 'shades like a leading $50 eyeshadow palette'. Those are some big claims, Covergirl!

Last are two things from Wet n Wild. I'm pretty sure their Color icon blushes just got new packaging, but I picked up the shade Rose Champagne. I also picked up a Velvet Matte Lip Crayon in the shade Hickory Smoked. I haven't tried any wet n wild lip products before so I was excited about this, until I opened it up and the color looks nothing like the color on the packaging does. I was kind of disappointed in that, and I dont really like the shade it is. I'm going to play around with different lip liners and see if I can make it work.

You guys can expect reviews for all of these products, except maybe the wet n wild lip stick! I've already uses a few these that I picked up so I'll probably have reviews up next week some time!!

There is still tons of things I want to pick up fron all of these new drugstore goodies. Wet n wild has new shadow palettes out too, which I almost got but I'll wait till next time. Milani also has new palettes that look gorgeous but I can't find Milani in my town so I'll have to wait for those! Loreal has new single shadows that look gorgoues, and they also have contour/highlight palettes. As I mentioned before, I really want to find the Rimmel bronzer, blush, and highlight palettes because they look gorgoues. And Revlon has a new compact foundation that looks interesting but it's a little expensive.

Have you picked up any thing new from the drugstore lately?

Makeup Haul #18- Ulta + Drugstore

I have a haul from this weekend to share today. I picked up a few things from ulta and some random drugstores.

These 3 things are just repurchases for me. I picked up another Benefit Porefessional and the Anastasia Brow Wiz from Ulta. I picked up the Covergirl Foundation from Walgreens. This is my 3rd tube of this!

I finally got my hands on the new Maybelline the Smokes Palette, which I also found at Walgreens. From Walmart i picked up a Maybelline Color Elixer and a blush, bronzer, and highlight trio from Hard Candy.

Lastly I got the Balm's Bahama Mama bronzer. I have been wanting this for so long! I found this at Kohls, which really made me happy because I have never seen the Balm in stores before!!

This is all for my haul post! Have you picked up anything good recently?

Makeup Haul #17- Sephora + Drugstore

Hello! I have another haul post today. I did some shopping at Sephora and got tons of free goodies with random offers they had and used a lot of my points up too. I also stopped by the drugstore and picked up a few things as well, and picked up something from Mac.

From Sephora-

I picked up the Too Faced Cat Eyes palette, and the Benefit they're real push up liner. Both of these I've had my eye on for a while. A review for both of these will be up soon!!

Sorry for the funky lighting, but this is the Mac Pro Longwear concealer. I picked this up at a counter inside macys. Next is the Hourglass Immacualte foundation. I tried a sample of this and fell in love so I had to get the full size.

Freebies and point perks-

When I went into Sephora they had left over sample bags from the previous weekend if you spend $35 or more.

It came with a perfume sample from philosophy, a first aid beauty face cleanser, a buxom mascara, a sephora moisturizer, a bareminerals wrinkle repair, and a benefit hello flawless primer. This actually came with a makeup forever hd powder and another face cream but I gave them away to my mom.

I used my point perks to get the makeup forever hd powder (which is why I gave the free one away LOL) and a bareminerals mini blush. The other two are a bareminerals powder and the prime time primer, which came free with a $25 or more online purchase.

I used 500 of my points to get this Tarte set.  It came with a tube of their self tanner, a sample size of the Gifted mascara, a packet of eye cream, a tan face towel, and park ave princess bronzer.

From the drugstore-
I picked up the Physicians Formula Shimmer Strip in the color Warm Nude. I've also had my eye on these Milani powder blushes that look like roses. So pretty!! And last I got the new Maybelline Pumped up Colossal Volume Express mascara!

Have you tried any of these Products before? If so, leave you thoughts on them in the comments!

Beauty Haul #11- Drugstore and Sephora!

Hello! You know how it goes when you get a 15% off coupon from Sephora- you must buy things. It's like they put a little voice inside your head that says 'yes you need that because it's on sale so why not?' LOL so pathetic but I'm sure every beauty blogger I know can relate! So I did a little shopping online at sephora and picked up a few things from target that I needed!!

From Target

First I ran out of my Netrogena face scrub so I picked up a new one. Also I wanted to try out this L'Oreal Sublime Brozne self tanner. Someone at my work had this on and it looked really great, which I know that doesn't necessary mean that it's going to work for me I know. But pleaseeee if any of my readers have tried this let me know what your thoughts on it are! Self tanners kind of scare me to be honest. Lol.

I picked up another Maybelline Falsies mascara. This is one of my favorite mascaras and I haven't used it in a while so it was time for a new one. I believe this is just the original formula.

I also picked up some new face moisturizers to try out. The Olay one is a a night cream, which I have never tried before. I have loved all of the Olay moisturizers that I have tried before so I have high hopes for this! The next one is the Aveeno positivly radiant daily moisturizer. I haven't tried any Aveeno face prodcuts before, but I have been really pleased with everything else that I have tried from them recently!

From Sephora
Ok on to the good stuff!

First let's talk about this Hourglass blush!
It's in the color Mood Exposure. I have wanted this for so long and I finally decided to pick it up with my coupon! I debated between one of these or the new Clinique ones that look like a flower. I chose this one because I have been eyeing it for the past few months. I am so beyond excited about it.

Next are these two items by First Aid Beauty. I have heard so many great things about this brand. The first item is actually one that I got for 100 of my sephora points. I surprised on how big it was for a delux sample! It's the Facial Radiance Polish, which I think is a exfoliant. I haven't played with it yet so I'm not sure. The next one is the Ultra Repair Cream. I wanted to try this because I needed a good hand cream. My hands are so dry lately it's insane. This size was $12, so not bad.

I picked up another Anastasia brow wiz because I was out of mine.

And last this is another item I got for 100 of my Sephora Points. I love my other Buxom Lipgloss so I figured why not get another one. I think this is in the color Sophia and it's similar to my other one but I will probably finish that soon!

Thank you all for reading and I hope you enjoyed my haul :)
