Skin Care Haul

Hello! Today I'm sharing a skin care haul! I seem to have run out of everything at the same time, so I made a trip to Ulta and Target. Some of these are repurchases for me, and some a new!

I ran out of my self tanner so I repurchased the NKD SKN self tan from Ulta. I like this because its organic and made with natural ingredients. It's not my favorite that I've ever tried, but it's affordable, dries really fast, and has a minimal scent to it!

I also repurchased the Dr. Bronners Pure Castile soap in the Hemp Almond scent. I use this stuff for body wash and for hand soap in my bathrooms and kitchen. This stuff is amazing, and its seriously the best makeup brush/sponge cleanser!

The next repurchase for me is the Burt's Bees Acne Solutions Toner. I could not wait to repurchase this again, and I'm so excited to have it back in my skin care routine. I was also going to purchase the Acne Solutions Cleanser that I raved about in my July Favorites  post on Monday, but neither Target nor Ulta had it in stock. I was a bit annoyed because I really love it, but I took this as an opportunity to try a different cleansers from Burt's Bees instead since I've had good luck with their skin care. I picked up the Gentle Foaming Cleanser with is for normal to combo skin. I'll do a review on it once I try it out for a bit.

I wanted a new face mask since I ran out of all of mine, and the only one that interested me was the Formula 10.06 Pores be Pure Skin Clarifying Mud Mask. I haven't tried anything from this brand before, but I remember being interested in it a while ago! They had a few different mud masks, and I chose this one because it has Kaolin Clay in the ingredients, and my skin responds well to it. I'll also do a review for this once I try it out for a while!

And the last product I picked up is the Derma E Purifying Detox Scrub. I reviewed this a while ago (here!) when I was sent some Derma E products from Brandbacker. I really loved this scrub, so I wanted to repurchased it when I ran out!

Have you tried any of these skin care products before? Let me know your thoughts on them in the comments!

Small Ulta Haul

Hello! Sorry for my absence at the beginning of this week. I had a ton of things planned for the blog, but well, life happens.

Today I'm sharing a small Ulta haul. I had a gift card so I wanted to pick up some things, and the few things that I got are all new to me so I can't wait to try them. Expect reviews soon!

Lorac Pro 3 Palette-  Lets get the biggest and most exciting thing out of the way! My husband got this for me as an early birthday present last weekend. This palette is ridiculously gorgeous. I'm thinking about doing a video review so I can show a demo using it. I usually save my reviews for my blog because I feel that I can be more thorough and in depth, but I would really like to show the palette and swatches in action. What do you guys think?

Lorac Light Source Illuminating Highlighter- I've seriously been on a highlighter craze lately. A direct quote from me to my husband last week was 'do you see the shine on my cheek bones? I want my highlight to be seen from outer space'. He kind of looked at me like I was nuts. Anyways, there Lorac highlighters are absolutely freaking stunning. I had a very hard time choosing between the 4 that they have. I wanted them all, and I won't be satisfied in life until I have them all. I was silently cursing them for not having a palette like ABH does. Okay, I'm being a bit dramatic.  Anyways, I chose the shade called Moonlight. Partly for the name, and mostly because it's a pink opal shade so it's different from most of my golden/champagne highlighter shades.

Essence Contour and Highlight Duo- I chose the lighter of the two shades, and I'm super excited to try this. I've never tried anything from Essence before, and this was on my wish list!

Essence Make Me Brow- I chose the darker of the two shades called browny brow. I heard this is a good dupe for Benefit Gimme Brow so I'm super curious if this $2.99 brow gel is good! I do love Gimme Brow, but it's $24 so no thank you. Also, is anyone else not digging the new packaging for benefit's brow products? They seem very flashy to me.

Essence Nude Longlasting Lipstick in Cool Nude- I've always heard great things about Essence lipsticks and this shade was right up my ally, and it was also super affordable at $2.99.

Like I mentioned before, I've never tried any Essence makeup before but have been meaning to so I thought I would pick up a few things that interested me! I'll be doing reviews for everything in this haul, except maybe the lipstick. If I like it, you'll probably see it in a favorites video, unless I end up picking up more shades so I can do a more in depth review of the different shades/formulas etc.

Have you tried any of these products that I mentioned? If so, leave your thoughts on them in the comments!

Makeup Haul #18- Ulta + Drugstore

I have a haul from this weekend to share today. I picked up a few things from ulta and some random drugstores.

These 3 things are just repurchases for me. I picked up another Benefit Porefessional and the Anastasia Brow Wiz from Ulta. I picked up the Covergirl Foundation from Walgreens. This is my 3rd tube of this!

I finally got my hands on the new Maybelline the Smokes Palette, which I also found at Walgreens. From Walmart i picked up a Maybelline Color Elixer and a blush, bronzer, and highlight trio from Hard Candy.

Lastly I got the Balm's Bahama Mama bronzer. I have been wanting this for so long! I found this at Kohls, which really made me happy because I have never seen the Balm in stores before!!

This is all for my haul post! Have you picked up anything good recently?

Beauty + Makeup Haul #13- Sephora, Ulta, Lush, and Mac!

It's safe to say I did some damage. I have a quite large beauty haul to share today! I got a 20% off coupon for one item at Ulta and then Mac's Alluring Aquatic Collection was released online, I went to a mall that had a full sized Sephora and Lush and I just keep making up all these excuses of why I bought so much stuff LOL!

These were all the things from Sephora, Ulta, and Mac. I forgot to include the Lush items so I will put them below in a seperate picture.

From Ulta

So I needed a new eye brow pencil so I repurchased the Anastasia Brow Wiz, and I also repurchased the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation. I picked up two more of the Nyx Butter Glosses because after trying one of these, I was completely obsessed. I got them in the colors Creme Burlee (left) and Angel Food Cake (right).

From Sephora

I have been wanting to try a new self tanner for a while and have heard nothing but great things about St. Tropez. I got the St. Tropez Gradual Tanner Firming Lotion. Self tanning scares, me so that's why I opted for a gradual one. They had the regular version of it which came in light/medium or medium/dark. I didn't know what color to get so that's why I got the Firming one. It didn't offer a color choice so I went with that one so I wasn't confused lol. I also picked up the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I have been wanting to try this stuff for so long!

I used 500 of my Beauty insider points to get this St. Tropez self tanner set. It comes with delux sizes of the body bronzer, the gradual tanner in medium/dark, a face tanner, a mini tanning mit and the self tanner mouse.

From Mac

Ok I had to have some of this Alluring Aquatic Collection. I mean come on the packaging is to die for! They were pretty much sold out online when I went to order so I got one eyeshadow and one lip stick.
The eyeshadow is in the color Lorelei and the lipstick is called Siren Song.  I will be doing a separate post on both these items very soon!

From Lush
I picked up the Enchanted Eye Cream and the Tea Tree Water Toner. The toner is a repurchase for me and I have tired samples of the eye cream before. I totally went crazy and got a ton of bath bombs and bath melts too. I didn't include them in the picture because I used some of them already and they just aren't as exciting as the other things I got!

I hope yo hall enjoyed the haul post and thank you for reading!

Beauty Hall #4- Ulta!

Hello!! I have another beauty and makeup haul today to share! An Ulta just recently opened up not too far from where I live, which is super exciting for me especially since I had a 20% coupon! I went to check it out over the weekend and ended up buying some makeup and other things.

That candle totally isn't beauty related but there were randomly some Yankee Candles at Ulta.

The first thing I picked up were some makeup remover wipes. In my last two hauls, I mentioned I was looking for a new makeup remover wipe. I still have not found one that I love yet. I normally use the Neutrogena ones on the right in this picture. I was planning on just picking these up for now, but then I saw these Neutrogena Deep Clean ones. I love the Neutrogena Deep Clean Face Scrub, so I hope I like these as well! If not, then at least I have the other ones as a back up!

The next product I picked up is the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer. This is something that I've had my eye on for a while now. Since I have really pale skin, I opted for the Milk Chocolate instead of the original Chocolate Soleil bronzer. When I swatched this, it looked really light but I think it will be perfect for my skin tone. I also picked up the new Benefit Rockateur blush. I love Benefits blushes, and this one is really pretty. It's a soft nude/pink color with a little bit of shimmer. It looks alot shimmery in the box than it does on your skin.

I really wanted a deep purple/plum eyeliner for fall, so I picked up this Nyx retractable liner in the color deep purple. I have not tried any Nyx liners before but the color is really beautiful.

Here are some swatches of the Bronzer (top) which looks super light in this picture. The Blush in the middle, and the Nyx liner on bottom.

The candle I got is in the sent called Autumn Wreath. It smells soooo good, kind of like cinnamon and different fall spices. I love love love fall candles so I was super excited to pick this up.

This is all for this haul post, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed!!
