Current Favorite Blushes

Hello!! Today I'm going to share my current favorite blushes. These are the ones I've been reaching for the most out of my collection lately, and honestly I don't think I've used anything else for the past 2-3 months! 

You've already seen these before on my blog, most of them even very recently. I did a review for the Physicians Formula and Majolica Majorca one, and the one from ModelCo was shown in my last favoeites post, and my last ipsy bag post. 

These are all very pink and coral toned blushes, which is what I gravitate towards in the spring and summer time (when will spring be here??!!).

I'm going to start with my beloved Nars Orgasm blush. This has been a long time favorite of mine and you can tell that it's well loved and used a lot. It's a pretty pink/coral shade with gold flecks in it. It doesn't look too shimmery on the skin, and just gives a pretty highlight in with your blush. 

Next up is the Physicians Formula Argan Weat blush in the color Natural. This blush is beautiful. The packaging is beautiful. And the design is beautiful. If you remember from my review, there was tons of gold glitter detailing on it (that was also beautiful lol) but it all came off. Physicians Formula blushes are my favorite from the drugstore, I own a few and they are amazing. 

This is the Majoloca Majorca Puff de Cheek Blush in the color PK302 Strawberry. I've always wanted one of these for years, and I decided to order one from eBay a few months ago. This is the first asian makeup brand I tried and I'm in love with this blush. It's gives yours cheeks such a natural flush of color. And the little tin it comes in is so cute!

Last is the ModelCo blush in the color Cosmopolitan. This blush looks way bright pink and it's not usually a color I go for. At first when I got this in my ipsy bag I wasn't excited but when I tried it on I really liked it! Props to ipsy for actually giving me a shade in something that I like! It blends super nicely so it doesn't look l have Barbie pink cheeks and also gives a nice flush of color!

I tried to do a top 5 blushes post, but I really couldn't pick another one out because that is all I've been using!

Nars vs Nyx: Dupe for Orgasm Blush

Hello!! A few weeks ago I purchased the Nyx Pinched blush and thought it looked really similar to the Nars Orgasm and Deep Throat blush. All three blushes side by side looks a lot similar. I did some swatches and found out that Pinched is a great dupe for the Orgasm blush. They both have similar color, sheen, and pigmentation. The Deep throat blush looks alike Pinched in the packaging but once it was applied to my skin it was a lot lighter.  Nyx's powder blushes are $5.99 at Ulta and on Nyx's website. Nars blushes are $29, so there is a huge difference in price for these two blushes. Nyx is definitely a more affordable option.

Here are the three blushes side by side. Nars Orgasm is on the left, Nyx Pinched in the center, and Nars Deep Throat on the right. In the picture, the Nyx blush looks closer in color to Deep Throat, and orgasm looks like it has a more reddish/gold tint.

Here are the three swatches. Orgasm on the left, Pinched in the center, and Deep Throat on the right. Orgasm and Pinched have very similar colors when applied to the skin, and Deep throat is lighter and not as pigmented. Orgasm has more shimmer, but when applied with a lighter hand it matched Pinched almost exactly.

I applied both blushes to my cheeks to see how they matched on my face. I put Nyx Pinched blush on one side and Nars Orgasm on the other, and I couldn't tell the difference between the two blushes.

These are almost the exact same color on my skin. Both blushes apply nicely and are easy to blend in. I think Nars blushes are really long lasting so I was putting the Nyx blush to the test to see if it was too. I think this Nyx blush did last long on my skin as well, and for the great pricing it's great dupe for Orgasm if you don't want to spend $29 on a blush!!
