Current Everyday Makeup

Hello! I do this thing where I get stuck on one makeup look for a few weeks and do it everyday, then I'll get bored and change it. I rarely stray from whatever is my 'current makeup look' that I'm stuck on at the time unless I do something specific for a blog post or I get something new to try. Does anyone else do that, or am I just weird LOL?

I do switch up my foundations and blushes most often, but everything I'm going to show you today is what I've been using the most!

I also had a bit of a hard time yesterday with the lighting in my house, so I took some photos while I was in my car getting ready to leave for work.

Face Makeup
Benefit Porefessional Primer, Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation, Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer, Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush in Rose Champagne.

Lips and Brows
Nyx Micro Brow Pencil and Australis Oh Hai Brow Kit. Milani Lip Liner in Nude and Milani Lipstick in Matte Nude.

Eye Makeup
I've been really into a darker smokey eye lately and I've been using my Tartelette palette a lot.

To get this look I use wanderer (1) as a transition shade. I use power play (2) in my crease. I use natural beauty (3) all over my lid, and bombshell (4) on my lower lash line. In this picture bombshell looks black but it's a super dark purple shade.

For my eyeliner I used Maybelline Line Stiletto and Stila Smudge Stick Eyeliner in Black in my water line. I used Covergirl Super Sizer for my mascara.

I hope you guys enjoyed this makeup look! Maybe I will do a video tutorial on it soon since its been a while since I filmed a makeup look!

What is your current go to makeup look?

Drugstore & Lush Haul

Hello beautiful people!! I feel like I haven't blogged in forever. I tried to keep up on everyone's blog posts while I was out of town. I think I did a good job but if I missed any of your posts please let me know so I can check them out!

Even when I'm on vacation, I still somehow find a way to go shopping and buy makeup. True makeup addict right here.

While I was away I found some drugstore makeup items that I wanted to try out, and I also went to a lush store and got a few things.

1. Lush Bath Bombs in Dragons Egg and Twlight. They didn't have any new ones to try out so I picked up Dragons Egg because it's my favorite, and I've tried Twilight before but I don't remember it. I also got a Tea Tree Toner Tab which is a facial steamer.
2. Lush Fresh Face Mask in Catastrophe Cosmetic. I have never tried their fresh face masks before so I was pretty excited about this. The toner tab I got was to use with this to open my pores before I apply it. I will be doing a review for both of these in upcoming 'skin care Sunday' posts!
3. Wet n Wild MegaGlo illuminating powder in Catwalk Pink. I've never seen these before and I was curious because it was only $3.99. It's more of a blush but the name sounds like it would be a highlight. I also got the Loreal True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator in Rose. Everyone seems to be talking about these but I've been obsessed with highlighters lately so I wanted to try one.
4.  I got two of the Loreal La Lacque lip crayons. For some reason I can't find the names of these on the tube. I got a pinky mauve shade and a raspberry shade which is super bold for me. I will be doing a review on these soon and hopefully can find the names of them! The last thing I picked up a Rimmel Lasting Finish Lip Liner in the shade Kisses. This one is a dark mauve shade that's on the more purple side.

This completes my haul post! I hope you all enjoyed reading!
Have you tried any of these items before? I'd so, leave your thoughts on them in the comments!

Favorite Makeup Products Under $5!

Hello!! One of the best things about makeup from the drugstore is that you can find some great items for such a good price! I'm going to be showing you all of my favorite makeup products that are under $5. Seriously, you can't get more affordable than this! I know that some of the more cheaper brands at the drugstore can be hit or miss (elf, wet n wild, etc) but they do make some good products that are now staples in my makeup collection!

This is the elf blush and bronzer duo that is $3. This is really comparable to the Nars duos but for a way cheaper price! I have a blog post comparing the two duos that you can read here. Both the blush and bronzer in the elf duo are really pigmented and apply nice. I do like the Nars one better, but for $3 you can't go wrong. The packaging on elf studio products are really nice too!

This is another great elf product for only $3! The elf golden bronzer is a product that I use almost daily and I've been through a lot of them. This product is really nice because it's very versatile. It can be used as a really pretty highlight shade, or you can use one of the darker shades to build up a nice contour shade. I personally use it all over my face in the summer time for a nice bronze glow to warm up my skin tone.

Wet n Wild eyeshadows are by far my favorite eyeshadows at the drug store. The larger palettes are $4.99 and the smaller trios are $2.94 at walmart. These shadows have such great pigmentation and blend really nice. Wet n Wild has a lot of different trios and palettes with tons of different colors.

Wet n Wild blushes are also a really great product. These you can buy for $2.99. Like the Wet n Wild eyeshadows, these are super pigmented. This one I am showing is in the color called Heather Silk, and I definitely have to apply this with a lighter hand!

NYC bronzer in Sunny is a great drugstore bronzer. This was given to me by a friend, but I found it on cvs's website for $2.23. That is definitely a price you can't go wrong with. This is also really pigmented, so I apply it with a lighter hand so it don't come off orange on my skin.

The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is a newer find of mine. I've always heard such great things about it, and now that I've tried it I will probably always use this one. You can get it for $3.97 at Walmart. You get quite a lot of product in there as well!

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in the color Airy Fairy is one of my favorites from the drug store. This is at Walmart for $4.97. It's a super pretty pink color and it applies really nice and creamy.

Revlon Lash Potion Mascara. This is not my favorite drugstore mascara, but I still like to use this one from time to time. It's $4.99 at Target, which is cheaper than any of the other mascaras I use! It has great formulation and makes my lashes really thick!

Ok excuse the dirty brushes LOL, but elf makes some seriously good makeup brushes. Their studio brushes (black ones) are $3, and their regular brushes (white ones) are $1. These two in the picture are my favorites. The elf kabuki brush I used every day to put on my setting powder. It's so soft! The other one in the picture is the elf studio stippling brush. I use this one to put on foundation. I kind of hid it behind the kabuki brush because it's gross from not cleaning it in a while lol. I actually own two of the stippling brushes because I got tired of having to wash it every few days haha!!

What are your favorite beauty products under $5? And have you tried any of these that I mentioned in this post?
