elf blush palette review!

Hello! I hope you all had a good Easter if you celebrated it!

Today I'm going to do a review for a blush palette by Elf that I bought at Target. I have always seen people talk about these, but never saw them in stores and never felt like ordering one online. So when I saw them in Target I was like ITS MINE!!! And since it was only $6, I didn't feel bad for buying moee blush that I didnt need ha ha.

Elf is usually a brand that is hit or miss for me. I've never tried any of their blushes other than the ones that come in the blush/bronze duos so I was really curious about these blush palettes.

These are $6 at target or online. There are two different palettes, one called light and one called dark. This one is the light one, and these are cool because the blushes PPP out and you can change them up. So if there is a color you like in one palette, you can switch colors and create the palette you want.

The packaging is nice and sleek. It would be great for travel.

All the shades are toned, and the one on the top left is a bronze color.

Here's swatches from left to right and top to bottom.

My Thoughts
-These blushes are very pigmented and powdery, so you have to use a light hand with them.
-The bronzer shade is a bit orange but if you buff it out and blend it, it looks nice as a contour. This might look nice as a blush too, if you want to kill two birds with one stone.
-I really like the two colors on the bottom, the top one is super pink and I haven't tried it yet because I'm afraid it will make me look like a Barbie lol!
-For $6 this is really great. It's super affordable and you can't beat the price!

Have you tried any of the elf blush palettes? Let me know your thoughts on them in the comments!

  1. Oh, this looks really good, Ashley! I have not tried this but have tried another e.l.f cream blush that has similar packaging with Makeup Forever and hated it.

Will definitely keep an eye for this, I love that it has so many different shades. Great review as always! xx

  3. I have never tried anything from elf. Probably because the closest Target is an hour away from me! HAHAHA I love the pigmentation of these Ashley. I agree, those two colors at the bottom are more wearable than the top two! BTW You're a total Barbie Girl!
