Makeup Haul #12- Small Drugstore Haul

Happy Monday everyone!
I did some shopping over the weekend at a few different places so I thought I would share the makeup items I picked up!

I got these things from Walmart, Target, and Meijers.

I was super excited when I went into Meijers and found a display of Nyx products! I have never seen them anywhere but Ulta before. They didn't have a lot, but I have been wanting to try the butter glosses, so I picked one up in the shade tiramisu.
The mascara is the new Revlon Bold Laquer by Grow Luscious.

I picked up two Covergirl Foundations. The first one is the True Blend, and I have tried this out and this might be a shade too dark for me. I can't decide yet.
The second one is the new Ready Set Gorgeous Fresh Complexion. I heard someone on YouTube talk about this and I instantly wanted to try it out. I found mine at Meijers but I have heard it's a walgreens also. At Meijers the display only offered like 4-5 shades. I'm not sure if that's all the make or if it was just the store. I got the lightest shade and it matches my skin really well.
The next is the Aveeno Positivly Ageless lifting and firming eye cream. I am almost out of the eye cream I'm using, and I have been really loving Aveeno lately so I thought I would try out this eye cream!

That's all for my drugstore haul from over the weekend! I will more than likely be doing a review for all of the products!
Have you picked up any new drugstore products lately? Share them with me in the comments!

FOTD using Urban Decay Ammo Palette

Hello All!! Today I am going to be doing a FOTD post featuring the Urban Decay Ammo Palette. A week or so ago I was at a Nordstrom Rack for the first time and they had some makeup selling for a cheap price, and they had this palette for $11. Urban Decay eyeshadows are my favorite so I thought what the heck and bought it since it was a good deal. I believe this palette was originally priced at $40 when it first came out so yay for $30 off!!

For my face makeup

I used the L'Oreal Lumi for my foundation. I used Covergirl & Olay simply ageless corrector under my eyes and Revlon Colorstay concealer. I set my makeup with the Maybelline Dream Matte powder. I used Nars Laguna for my contour and bronzer. I used Benefit Sugarbomb for my blush and Benefit Watt's Up for my highlight.

For my Eyes
To prime my eyes I used the Mirabella primer and Mac Paint Pot in Bare Study for my eyeshadows base.

1. I used Sin in the inner part of my lid and in my inner corner.
2. I used Grifter in the center of my lid.
3. I used Chopper in my crease as a transition color.
4. I used Last Call in my outer corner slightly blended into the crease.
5. I used Polyester Bride as my brow bone highlight.

For my eyeliner I used L'Oreal carbon black lineur intense liquid eyeliner (why do these products have such longs names?? lol) and Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion on my waterline. For my mascara I used L'Oreal Telescopic.

Thank you all for reading and I hope you enjoyed :)

Makeup for Wearing Glasses

Hey Everyone! Today's post is going to be on Makeup for wearing glasses. When I wear my glasses, I usually opt for a more neutral and lighter eye look. I think a more natural eye look looks better and more appropriate than brighter, bold, and dark colors. Since you can't really see much makeup behind your glasses, save the fun or bright colors for your cheeks and lips!!

What I used:

For this look I used the Urban Decay Naked palette. This is one of my all time favorite eyeshadow palettes. To prime my eyes I used the Too-faced shadow insurance and Nyx jumbo pencil in cashmere as my eyeshadow base.

I used Half Baked all over my lid. I used Buck in my crease and blended it out with Smog. I used both Buck and Smog on my lower lash line. I didn't want to draw too much attention to my under eye area since the glasses magnify my eyes, so I did not use an eyeliner on my waterline like I usually do. For my top eyeliner I used L'Oreal carbon black lineur intense liquid eyeliner. For my mascara I used Revlon Lash Potion. I chose this mascara because this one doesn't make my lashes as long as some of my other mascaras do so it's perfect for wearing my glasses.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!!

New Revlon Lash Potion Mascara Review

Today I am going to be sharing my review for the new Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious Mascara. The original Revlon Grow Luscious mascara use to be my favorite drug store mascara until I discovered the Maybelline Falsies mascara. I still like the grow luscious, but it doesn't give me as great of results as the falsies do. I was really excited to try the Lash potion mascara and I really love the pretty packaging. I'm going to insert some pictures of the mascara tube, the brush, and of the product on my eyes. I will share my thoughts on this at the end, and also on how I think this product compares to the original grow luscious mascara!

Here is a close up of the mascara wand. It is not as big as the original grow luscious wand. It is smaller in both length and width.

Here is a picture of before I applied the mascara.

Here is with one coat of the mascara on the top lashes.
Here is with two coats of mascara on the top lashes and one coat on the bottom.

Overall I liked this mascara. I liked it better than the original grow luscious mascara because it makes my lashes a lot longer. The formulation of this mascara is nice because it is not too wet or too dry. It did  not make my lashes stick together as much as a lot of newly opened mascaras do. I also liked the way this applied to my bottom lashes. I am happy that I tried this mascara out, however there are still ones that I like better than this one so far so I do not think I would re purchase it.
Anyone who has tried this out feel free to comment with your thoughts!

Thank you all for reading and have a wonderful day!

Drugstore Makeup Haul

Hey Everyone! Today I am going to share a drugstore makeup haul. All of these items I purchased at either Target or Walmart. I was really excited about a few of the items that I picked up, particularly some mascaras that I wanted to try!

These items are just restock products for me. I was running out of my Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, which is my favorite setting powder, and my Elf Golden Bronzer. Then when I went to Walmart I saw that there were a ton of Maybelline Products on sale for $2 so I picked up the Instant Age Rewind Perfector powder which is another one of my favorites.

I picked up this Wet n Wild eyeshadow trio in I Dream of Greenie. I have never tried Wet n Wild eyeshadows before but I have heard that there are great and really pigmented. I have been wanting some really pretty green eyeshadows lately so when I saw this one I decided to pick it up. I will post a picture of some swatches of the colors.

The colors from left to right are the brow bone color, the crease color, and the lid color on the palette.

I have been wanting to try the L'Oreal telescopic mascara and the new Revlon Lash Potion mascara. I have heard really great things about the Telescopic mascara, and I have not heard anything about the Revlon Lash Potion yet. I just liked the pretty packaging lol. I will do a review on these mascaras once I try them out!

Thank you all for reading and have a wonderful day :)
